I go to school at UTMB and they said they were going to start to add Nurse Clinician I positions over the next few weeks, just keep an eye out.

You would think that with graduation over and the removal of the interview process things move at a quicker pace. *Fingers crossed*

Hello everyone! Thought I would connect on here as I maybe applying to UThealth dependent upon my acceptance to UTMB Spring 2020. I recently gradated from Galveston College with an associates in transfer nursing with an overall GPA of 3.9 (I will forever have a hasty relationship with chemistry thanks for it ruining my 4.0 *sigh*) I was accepted to Galveston College Nursing for the Fall 2019, but would much rather enter into a BSN program. I unfortunately was denied for UTMB Fall 2019 due to sending in the incorrect TEAS document. However, I did make an overall 85.3 on the test. I am hesitant to have to study for the HESI since the TEAS were so grueling. Does anyone have any advice for taking the HESI?

So I finally got a response regarding my fall application...denied ? The timing is interesting, as soon as I submitted my spring application and it became verified I was shortly notified of my fall application. Could be a coincidence. My stats: Prereq/Science/Overall GPA: 4.0 TEAS: 85.3 I know the fall is highly competitive, hoping for a better outcome this next go around!

Hey everyone! I also applied for Fall 2019 but have yet to hear anything so I went ahead and reapplied for the Spring 2020 semester. I sent in my supplemental app today. Good luck to everyone!

Oh no ? How did you find that out?

I haven’t heard of anyone getting accepted except for those select few with outstanding stats. I feel like they haven’t sent anything beyond that.

Speaking of spring... has anyone applied for that semester? Or is everyone still waiting to hear back for Fall? Part of me wants to go ahead and reapply, but I’d hate to waste money if I don’t have to.

Looking at their academic calendar it seems as if some people still have class, perhaps that means there is a possibility of e-mails going out ??

Overcome with another day of obsession, I browsed through past threads and it looks like people would typically see a change in their "to do" list a week before interview/early acceptance e-mails went out. Has seen a change yet?
