I emailed them today. This is their response: “It takes 2-3 months after the application deadline to hear back with a decision. If you are selected for interviews it will be over zoom.” I guess we will get an update in Jan or February !

Nope heard nothing back since the initial email

So far only 1 person on this forum said she was accepted from alternate list. Other than that I think the only way to know it to call pcc nursing but I doubt they'll disclose that information...

got my email . as expected didn't get in! congrats to everyone else who got in! im glad I didn't have to wait the entire weekend to find out..

I think unless you took it at COC last week then we have to send the scores!

Hmm the last two times I applied for Fall not Summer so I think timeline is a little different!

Hi so first time I applied they said it's best to have ALL your pre-reqs completed. I applied when I had two IP science courses. Second time I applied they said possibly get more experience in the healthcare field - but I couldn't b/c I work fulltime and have kids... honestly, I don't know what their criteria is other than maybe GPA and recommendation letters? They don't have a point system.

That's still healthcare that's good! do you have any volunteer hours? I work in the accounting field... so I'm pretty far from healthcare in terms of background/experience..

Yea me too.. I took my first one in 2019 and got 77 and I took it again this year got 90. bummer that they only take first attempt. I don't think I'll make the cut this cycle ?

Hi!! She s so busy it took some time for me to get a respond. She likes it so far . she just said its really intense but the professors are helpful. Clincals right now she said its similiar to CNA work but prob change as they learn/train!

So I received an email saying I can take my TEAS. But I already took it 2 yrs ago… So should I send my score to COC? So confused…

A friend of mine who is in PCC nursing right now said one of her cohorts heard back as late as (alternate) two weeks before term start date b/c someone decided to drop out of the program last min. so we never know.. b/c even when there is extra space - that extra space is , I believe selected per random selection (of course higher pts first)

Yea I think rankings/priority based on pts . if several candidate has same pts then random selection.

I got an email for being on alternate list. I have 80 pts. Hopefully we hear back soon!

Anyone here got accepted and started the program? Is this all in Austine or Dallas? How do you like the clinicals? I’m in CA but consider applying here and I don't know a lot of information for Texas schools. Any insight will be appreciated!
