  1. OK thank you!! Sorry I keep asking so many questions LOL but does anyone know where I can find the information that the Cyfair program is 18 months? I’ve looked on the website but can’t seem to find it.
  2. Hey does anyone know if they let you use a calculator for the HESI? Or is it just like pen and paper?
  3. You heard that was the last day we could take it or submit it?
  4. Sorry for so many questions but also I was wondering as far as the HESI is concerned if the HESI deadline is April 9th then what is the latest I can take the HESI?
  5. Oh OK yea that makes sense. I just thought that the program started in August and the Pharm class finishes so late in August that I thought it may be an issue. Thank you so much!!
  6. Hey guys! Does anyone know if I would be able to take a pharmacology class in the Summer that ends on August 22nd? Or is that cutting it too close and I should take the 6 week session?
  7. Does anyone know or does anyone have any experience with transferring any classes into te program?
  8. Hey does anyone know if any of the programs go through the Summer or are shorter in anyway?
  9. Hey I’m sure this thread is probably dead but I was just wondering if anyone was willing to share Their GPAs they used to get into the program? I am currently In my first semester of nursing school and am getting my test grades back for the tests we have taken during this whole pandemic thing and they are not good. And I’m just scared that when the time comes I won’t be able to get into a masters program to become an NP. Thank you for any responses!!
  10. Thank you! So I actually submitted my app on the last day lol. So I don’t think that affects whether you get accepted or not.
  11. So I got a 88.7 on my teas. So not like a super high grade. And as far as the personal statement I would try to emphasize why you want to be a nurse and why you believe you would be right for the profession. Also used it as a time to explain why maybe my grades at first were not the best. I think on NursingCAS they have prompts for the essay questions.
  12. Classes are good! It’s a lot of information and for me personally it’s a little overwhelming because there Is a lot of reading a lot to keep track of. Organization is definitely going to be big.
  13. Hey guys!! I just started the spring semester. I literally just had my first week of classes this past week so it’s really fresh lol. I just wanted to ease some worries as far as GPA. I applied with a 3.19 cumulative and was still admitted into the program. They do look at more than grades and as long as you put your all into that personal statement and try your best on the teas you definitely have a great chance!!
  14. I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up but right before I got my acceptance my portal said the same thing. So anything is still possible! Good luck!
  15. Yayyyyy!!!!! congratulations I am soooo happy for you!!
  16. Hello everyone. I was accepted into UTMB for the Spring 2020 and for all Those that have yet to hear about an acceptance I would say not to worry. For our group they sent the first way on June 17th but I did not get my acceptance until July 29th I believe. So there is still plenty of hope!! Good luck guys and congratulations!!!! Also I wanted to edit my comment to add that the only reason I believe our second wave was so far from the first was because the staff at UTMB celebrate two holidays around that time so we had to wait a bit for the second wave but hopefully the second wave will come faster for your guys!!
  17. From what I’ve been told and seen any class you have taken that does not count for their requirements can count as an elective. And they will choose the class with the highest grade.
  18. That’s a great score! I’m sure you’ll get it with that. But it is tough not knowing for sure!
  19. Lol yea I’m glad that it all worked out! And yea we have been in this nursing school struggle for a bit together lol I’m rooting for us both! And I think it was like a 53 point something? But I can’t remember exactly because I did it so long ago lol
  20. Oh ok thank you guys for responding!! I was just asking because about two weeks ago I got an email from TWU saying they needed syllabi from two of my classes psych and stats, but I was having trouble getting them but today I just received another email from TWU saying that my application was processed and I was eligible for consideration lol so I’m like so I guess they didn’t need them? Lol
  21. I have a question. In order to get the eligibility email do I need to have the Psychology course and the statistics course completed?
  22. Hey I also have not received one yet. I was starting to get worried that maybe I wasn't going to get one.
  23. Oh OK thank you so much!!
  24. What email did they send that to?
  25. I second what @blondebsn said. I took my test at a PSI center and had my results that same day. I was actually able to print it before I left the building right after I took the test. So idk why they’re saying 72hrs?
