I’m trying to hold off on buying like a stethoscope and all the little extra things we’ll need for classes/ studying. I definitely feel like I won’t have everything uploaded by August 1st even though I just need a few more forms.

I was gonna make a fb group but I didn’t know if anyone would be interested in joining lol. I’m fine with making one since I’m sure we might be able to answer each others questions better/ faster there.

I haven’t completed mine since I’m still waiting for them to review the medical forms I uploaded. Have you done yours?

Another question: have any of you started buying the stuff we need for classes (scrubs, books, school supplies)? I’m trying to decide if I should start buying stuff now or wait. I’m scared to wait too long because I don’t want things to sell out. Of course I’m going to wait until we can use financial aid for books & probably scrubs too, but everything else, idk.

Question! For the castle branch stuff, did you just take pics of your paperwork & upload it? Or did you have to scan it onto the computer?

I have Monday: NSG 200 8-10 & lab 10-1 Tuesday: NSG 100 lab 6:30a - 6:30p wed: NSG 100 lecture 9-12 Thurs: NSG 106 8-9 & lab 9-12 I’m wondering if I should make Thursday my lab day for NSG 100. I remember them saying something about it at orientation.

Just to add to this I think BIO 150 is required in order to get into the program but not 142. I applied and got in with every class done except for 142. I’m taking it now during the summer and start the program this upcoming fall semester.

Yaay! How did you like the program? Do you think the summer program is unnecessary added stress since there’s no (summer) breaks?

I’m leaning towards forfeiting my seat so I can work towards the BAN program in my home state. ODU expects so much to start their BSN and I don’t want to wait for sentara. There’s a 16 month BSN path at ASU that is looking really appealing right now

So the clinical experience is better in an ADN program vs in a BSN program?

No I’m not. I was trying to find more info on the summer cohort and came across this thread. I plan to apply next cycle

Okay so I’m kind of having an internal dilemma because I can’t decide what I want to do so I’m asking for input. (Yes I know the decision is mine to make I just want different perspectives). I was recently accepted into an ADN program here in Va and if I complete the program, I would graduate May 2021. I’ve been looking into different BSN programs and Arizona State University (I’m originally from Az & qualify as in state resident) has a 16 month year round program that would have me graduating in August 2021 if I’m accepted. In my eyes- graduating 3 months later with a BSN id better (for my personal goals) than me putting in effort for an ADN and then spending extra time bridging to a BSN. My goal is to become a NNP so I feel like going straight for my BSN would be the better option. Also, since I’m military, school price isn’t a factor for me & I wouldn’t have to pay to move back home. My gpa is sitting at a 3.8 right now also. What would you guys do if you were in my shoes?

Anyone currently enrolled in or graduated from ASU’s (Arizona State) BSN summer track? I’m interested in applying for the next cycle but I have questions about it considering you finish in 16 months vs 24.

Is anyone applying for the ODU concurrent enrollment option?
