  1. Hello. Anyone coming from Los Angeles for fall 2019? And/Or looking for a roommate? Please let me know [email protected]
  2. That was a little passive aggressive...But, you have great options to choose from. You’re going to end up wherever you’re meat to!
  3. I hope they aren’t taking Presidents’ Day off too...
  4. A letter would be cool !
  5. Los Angeles!
  6. While we wait...does anyone have any input/insight on Drexel's ABSN program? I was admitted and would be coming from California, which I don't mind, but it is an 11 month program. Was wondering if anyone has any tips on their program/school!
  7. Have you tried asking the schools for another extension? I was granted a second extension for a program. Might be worth asking!
  8. Hello! Is anyone else having trouble with the program not accepting certain pre-reqs?
  9. Thanks for the update..Sunday Funday it is!=/
  10. I was not accepted either. Still waiting to hear back from one more school and got accepted to an accelerated BSN program so will likely do that. I'm pretty bummed and literally worked 4 years to apply. Good luck to everyone else!
  11. They seemed more strict on their grade requirement too, I believe I read you couldn’t get a C in any of the pre reqs. I got a C in micro so didn’t apply. Plus the interview and teas seemed too much for me. But maybe because of the amount of applicants they get? I’m not sure. I applied to an 11 month ABSN at Drexel and got in and their requirements were minimal. So I’m not sure !
  12. I looked into CSULA and their requirements are crazy. Good luck to you!
  13. Has anyone applied to any other program?
  14. I do remember reading those numbers. Does anyone know why the admit rate is more than half of the enrolled? I'd assume those people got into other programs. Just curious why more than half decline.
  15. I went into the info session on this program and believe I heard it there!
  16. I'm not sure about a number amount but at the open house they did say they admit the most pre-specialty students in the AGACNP program.
  17. That's crazy! I wonder if they will release that info anytime soon. I've heard the same numbers, 400-500 with 70 admitted to UCLA
  18. Anyone else applying to this program from Los Angeles ? Or California in general?
  19. Thank you!
  20. Hey! Not sure if you went to an info session for Western but their program is not impressive. I would like to go the same NP route eventually and found that the UCLA program will get me there for a better education and price. If you're willing to move out of state, Vanderbilt offers an MSN pre-specialty program as well. This program allows for an MSN in two years then continued education for whatever route you want. In all, getting the MSN in two years for the price UCLA offers is the best route. Plus the resources UCLA offers. Hope this helps!
  21. Hello! Hope you're all doing well, thank you for all the info! I am applying for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Nurse Practitioner program for Fall 2019 in hopes of getting into transplant. I have ~4 years of organ/tissue transplant experience and also EMT-B experience. Also applying from Los Angeles! Former Bruin, if anyone else came from UCLA. I am wondering if anyone else applied to this program and if so, does it require an interview? Thank you!
