yep i know someone else who applied beginning of december who hasn't gotten petition either. The admissions lady i talked to acted like it wasn't a big deal and told me point blank it had nothing to do with getting accepted or not (because I emailed her freaking out)...Just timing. I will say though to check your email frequently because you may lose your spot if you don't register soon after you get a petition email.

I applied mid-November and yes, first application. Like i said, they're filling spots as they go and it doesn't have anything to do with qualifications.

I got a petition a few days ago. An advisor said that their goal is to get everyone in the class and it's no indication of your acceptance to the program. They're sending out rounds of petitions as they have space. They also don't give you an option of which class/campus/time. The petition email assigns one. Thankfully, the one I got works for me. Good luck, and don't worry about the petition thing, they're doing it in order of applications it sounds like!

Anyone have any update on when we'll hear?? I also applied for the Fall 2019 ADN program. I didnt receive a petition of the 14th but I called and said those were only sent to reapplicants. Anyone else have any clarity?? It's been super confusing an not much info!

Hi all! I have applied to start Austin Community College's program in Fall 2019. The deadline is tomorrow and the info given is minimal! After contacting them, it seems like we may not hear if we're accepted up til May. And the first round of petitions have already been sent out but they were for re-applicants (im a new applicant). I don't understand why we have to wait so long after the application deadline! And apparently the second round of petitions are not going out until late January! Anyone have more clarity than me??
