  1. Hey there, I have now been off orientation for 2.5 months and still worry about stuff, it is part of what helps make us safe. I hope you have a great team that you can rely on for help and never be afraid to ask questions. An awesome piece of advice I got from a fellow nurse is that you are never alone, you are surrounded by a group of people who want to help patients, so never feel alone or that you cannot ask for help. This helped me a lot in the beginning. As for missing something, I just went through that myself... And had an investigation to top it off, but the support of my team has made me realize this could happen to anyone and to just keep going! I'm sure you will do great, make silly mistakes, and then one day be helping another new nurse learn their way. Good luck!
