Hello everyone, I got accepted for MJC Fall 2021 super excited!! Still in disbelief ?

Hello everyone! Has anyone checked on their application to see if it’s been updated? I’ve read that we’re supposed to be hearing soon and I’m curious if they’ve updated the applications ? the wait is making me so anxious!

Does anyone have saved the page that came up when submitting the application that shows dates of when we will know if we're accepted? I thought I saved it but I didn't ?

No I didn't receive anything emailed. At the end of the application after you submitted it gave you the option to download but other than that nothing. I wish they would have sent a confirmation email as well

Did anyone not receive an email? I haven't received anything and I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing ?

We only input our first score into the application even if we scored higher on the second attempt correct?

Yes you are correct! In the tips page it mentions that if our AA/AS degree is posted on our transcripts it does not need to be uploaded. There is so much to read I missed it. But thank you!!?

Does anyone know if we have to send our ATI scores to the college, or do they just need the pdf submitted?

How were you able to view your documents submitted? The link on my application doesn’t work and I’m trying to view what I submitted again. I logged back into my account where I converted my PDF files into one and nothing is saved I’m not sure what’s happening ?

Hello everyone! I think MJC needs to step up their game, and be a little more organized. I really hope we find out soon if we are in or not since we submitted our documents already. Delta has a schedule out that states when they would be sending out acceptance emails. I really hope we don’t wait as long as last year ?

Hello everyone. I am a first time applicant, and I am a bit confused. Do we have to submit an actual copy of our AA degree, or is OK to submit official transcripts? I got mine last year over COVID from MJC and never filled out the email to get it mailed to me and it takes 4-6 weeks for delivery. Am I able to submit my HS diploma instead? I almost missed the deadline to apply so I’m a little behind ?

How are you guys inputting your class names? Are you guys putting the whole name of the course? For example "General Biology MBIO-111". I've been putting just MBIO-111 but I am not sure now if it matters if the whole course name is on there

You're right, 82 was the original cutoff when they first sent out acceptance letters. Have you heard how long it will take them to start accepting? Since they will have everything I hope it's fast and not months like last year

thank you! I hope so I applied last year and unfortunately didn't make the cut so I guess I'm just afraid of messing up on the application and not getting in ? Take your time, but not too much! I ended up running out of time on math and guessed instead of leaving them blank. I totally neglected the section since it's my strong subject. Had I actually finished them I feel like I would've aced it.

Update guys: I ended up scoring higher on the TEAS so I'll be applying with 86 ?. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Last years cut off was 82, if they accept the full cohert this year my guess is the cutoff will be the same.

Is there anyway for you to get more points for next year? Also what would your commute be like? If I were you and I was able to wait to get more points for the following year I would wait to apply to MJC campus if the commute was shorter.

Hey everyone! I currently have 74 pts with no TEAS. This is including grades, CNA license, 1,000 hours of work and basically everything else. I am aiming for an 80 on the TEAS so I can get 10 pts and apply with 84 fingers crossed! I have been studying and feel more and more confident everytime I realize something sticks. I take it on the 9th hopefully I have been lagging on scheduling it because I’m scared ?

Does anyone know If all of our classes were taken at MJC we don’t need to turn in a transcript even for proof of the MATH89 or higher correct?
