Hello! I am also on the waitlist for UMass Boston. I was recently accepted to mass generals program and they have an enrollment deposit due date of February 28th so I called UMass Boston to see if there was any chance of hearing back about the waitlist spots opening up before I submit my mass general deposit and they told me they have a full cohort of students that have made deposits so if any spots open up it will be because of one of the students withdrawing from the program. I ended up submitting my deposit to MGH to secure my spot there. Best of luck!

I called admissions and they said the January 15th applicants will hear back by the first week of March at the latest. It’s interesting that the enrollment deposit for the December applicants is due before the other people even hear back. The wait is killing me!

Hello! That’s great you applied to a lot of schools. I only applied to MGH and UMass Boston. I got waitlisted at umass and I’m anxiously waiting to hear back from mass general. My undergrad GPA was 3.3 and my pre-req GPA was 3.8. NursingCAS just verified all my documents last week too!!! Fingers crossed!

Ok thanks! I applied for the January deadline and I won’t be hearing back for a few weeks so I was just wondering if that was included in the acceptance email.

Congrats!!!! When did you apply? With the deadline extension I ended up re-editing my papers and I just submitted my application about a week ago so I am not expecting to hear back for a few weeks.

Congrats on the acceptance! I received my letter informing me that I was placed on the wait list in the first few days of January. They start accepting off the wait list in early March so fingers crossed. When was the due date for deposits?

My status update says a decision has been made and I'll be receiving a letter soon. It's interesting that it says congrats but not that there is a letter coming! It still sounds like good news though.

The update says "click below" right?? What happens when you click?

My status just updated to: "A decision was made and you will receive your decision by mail. You will receive formal notice in the mail within 14 working days. Thank you for your interest in attending the University of Massachusetts Boston." Anyone else?

I am also wrapping up my diversity statement and am applying tonight! I also applied to UMass Boston. Can't wait to hear back.

Hello! I am submitting my application tonight. The only other program I applied to was UMass Boston. I wasn't planning on applying to the MGH program for financial reasons but I decided it was at least worth submitting an application. I graduated in May with a bachelors degree in Public Health with a 3.4 GPA and I have a 3.8 Pre req GPA. I got an 83 on the TEAS. Best of luck on yours this week!

Hi echo32, I think we are all very curious what that status update means. It seems that they aren't meeting as a committee for another week or so I'm not sure what letter we are all expected to get shortly! Hopefully its good news though.
