  1. The only exception made is if you went through the series and you were not immune, you can use the waiver. If you think they are strict now, wait until you begin upper levels. Be 3 minutes late to clinical and you are out of the program. Be 1 minute late 3 times and you’re out. Get used to strict rules. It’s only going to become more so.
  2. Waitlisted move up when those accepted don’t meet the deadlines after admission. If you haven’t gotten your titer for hep B, you better do so ASAP because if you come back not immune, you have to complete the series again and it takes six months to complete. Many students lost their spots for Fall ‘19 because of this They got accepted a March 9 and complete shot records were due the 25th. Many hadn’t even gotten the titers yet to know. So by the 25th at 8:01am, they lost their place. If you have to repeat the Heb B series, you still need time to get another titer after completion. Don’t wait another week. Every day is loosing valuable time if the deadline is again two weeks after admission decisions.
