  1. Got a call around 12:30 from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) saying I got accepted. I interviewed 4/24 :) good luck to everyone! Can't wait to meet yall
  2. I believe they mentioned that they would call us individually.
  3. Accepted! However, already committed to another university so regretfully will have to decline.
  4. Definitely don’t lose hope... I was accepted but I most likely will turn down the offer and go somewhere else. Means one seat opening
  5. I received my acceptance as well!
  6. Every time I get an email notification from this forum, I get super excited thinking someone got a response. then I get disappointed to see it’s just multiple people saying they got nothing ... sad days. happy Friday, y’all ! Maybe today’s finally the day
  7. I don't think you're being annoying by calling. What's annoying is them telling us we'd hear back last friday only to change it to today then to next week Friday lol They're giving different dates to different people. Just don't mention your name haha
  8. I have the same issue so you're not alone. I think i read previous cohorts have a similar issue. It just takes time for them to update the tracker.
  9. Not yet. I think I saw people in previous cohorts hear back on a Friday but After wait so long, I’ve become numb haha
  10. Ahh, thanks Jainie. I accepted the offer 2 days ago but haven't received the instructions for the deposit nor to rsvp for a date. I'm guessing it took a few days for it to come through
  11. Hi Loress, Assuming all interview formats/questions are the same, I was asked questions such as, why nursing, why Rochester’s program, what can you tell me about yourself that I couldn’t get from your app/ essay (pretty much a, “tell me about yourself” type of deal). It was very straight forward and nothing that was out of the norm. Good luck to you!
  12. Hey Guys - For those accepted, congratulations! I found out I was accepted on 9/6 but I'm still waiting to hear back on a couple other schools. Out of curiosity, when did you guys receive your financial aid packet/ official letter of acceptance via mail?
  13. Just received my acceptance!
  14. Damn! That’s amazing, congrats! ?
  15. Hey Laura - I am in a similar situation as you regarding one of my LOR being submitted late. I called to explain my situation and follow up on the status of my application and they told me my app wouldn't be reviewed until the next deadline (9/1). They said if I got it in a day or two after priority deadline it would be reviewed but since it was a few days late, no exceptions. It sucks but it seems like all we can do at this point is wait for them to update our "under review" status to a final decision. Since you have an email from them, I would try giving them a call and explaining the situation. Maybe your outcome/ response will be different than mine. I would be curious to know what they say.
  16. I submitted my application July 15th but one of my recommenders forgot to submit until mid-August so I missed the priority deadline. I called and admissions explained I would be grouped into the next round of applications. As JainieS mentioned, they take 4-6 weeks after the deadline to advise on a decision, possibly earlier. They wait for all the acceptance/ declination from the wave of priority submissions to assess how many seats are available. If you had all required items submitted, I would call to check the status of your application.
  17. For those who applied for the ABSN, I spoke with Nancy the other day and she advised we won’t hear back until end of September. They’re still currently interviewing. However, looking at previous threads, some people were told the same but heard back earlier.
  18. The waiting game is so painful...
  19. Congrats!!! Out of curiosity while I sit in limbo, how much (if at all) do they require you to put down for deposit and when is the final date to respond if you will matriculate?
  20. Congratulations!! I just checked my portal and turns out one of my recommenders forgot to submit his... so I missed the priority deadline ?
  21. I actually saw the same but then went back to 2018 and saw people didn't receive decisions until mid to end of September. Wide range but I think we can anticipate hearing back mid-Sept to as late as early October. Let the waiting game begin...
  22. of the ones i know off the top of my head: utica college, nyu, stony brook, pace university, university of rochester, hunter college. I would also utilize: https://www.nursingprocess.org/accelerated-nursing-programs/new-york/ you'll have to look at each school for their start dates
  23. Honestly, my interview was straight forward. "Tell me about yourself, why nursing, why UofR, etc." Then ended off with asking questions. Best of luck!
  24. Hi Ontario - I received a call from Nancy to schedule an interview. I'm sure they're still in the process of reviewing and making calls since the deadline was only 10 days ago! Plus we had 4th of July week so don't lose hope!
