TriStar Nurse Residency Summer 2020
@EDboundSN Hmm I am not sure about that for either Vandy or tristar, but I had my Tristar interview yesterday at centennial and they did not ask for it. There were about 25 people there. First You listen to the acno and then they separate you into 3 groups, one to tour, one for peer interview, and one for leader interview.

Union University Hendersonville ABSN Spring 2019 Cohort
Hello there! I will be happy to answer any questions you have about Union. I have made it through my first session and can tell you that I've loved it so far. I know that Union has a much better reputation than marian online.

Union University Hendersonville ABSN Spring 2019 Cohort
I am trying not to. I was accepted into another college's absn program but it's reputation is less than stellar and the drop out rates are extremely high. I would much rather be able to attend Union. I'm still waiting though. Its been almost 11-12 days since my application was verified.I'm sure I'll be waiting a few more weeks.

Bellarmine University ABSN May 2019 Start
Hi, I also applied to Bellarmine and I am currently waiting to hear back regarding a decision. I have seen the reviews too but I also know that they let in a significant amount of people with different skill levels. I think that can attribute to some of the bad reviews. At least that's what I am telling myself... This is my last choice of the schools I applied to.

Honestly it sounds like you've got a great shot at getting in so don't be discouraged. You'll be conditionally accepted until you've finished the ap2 class.

Sxyshan Yes that was me! My application was verified yesterday and union also sent me the under review email. I was really impressed too I walked out of the building and was like i'd Be super lucky to go to school here. I hate the waiting part it's so frustrating. I wonder how long it'll be before they make their decisions. I was sad when they broke up to tour but oh well I still liked Ms. Wright she was pretty cool. I wish I would've been in your group though:(

Union University Hendersonville ABSN Spring 2019 Cohort
Yes, she is an assistant professor that teaches adult health II. the program coordinator was also there her name is Cathy Wright. They seemed very nice. I hope we get in too but I think I am probably going to get rejected for spring since my gpa is just making the cut off. Ms. Wright said though that I could take some classes at portage learning that could raise my gpa in a faster time period 100 days. She also gave out a packet listing some help line and resources for financial aid. I'm sure if it's something you would like to have she could email you a copy her email address is [email protected] I'll be praying for us too!!! I have scoured the other message boards on union and people were receiving acceptance emails all the way up until December. So I'm guessing some people chose other colleges and then they considered some other candidates. So I suppose it's just a waiting game at this point. Did you apply to any other schools?

Union University Hendersonville ABSN Spring 2019 Cohort
I did end up going and it was pretty good. Didn't learn too much more about the application process than I already knew going in but did learn about the awesome facilities(they had six simulation rooms with active dummy patients, and they had a cadaver that we were able to check out in the pathophysiology/biology lab). I learned that they accept 30-38 students per cohort and Dr. Davis tried to give a whole picture of what the work load will look like 5 days m-f some half day some full days and some Saturday clinicals. She explained that the clinicals take place in lots of different hospitals and that they can't guarantee what hospital you'll be in. Overall I really enjoyed the visit and really hope I get in.

Awesome me too! I think it'll be good to see the campus and meet some current students. Do you know if any faculty will be present or just current students?
