  1. i just kept checking, but i also got an email. didnt get in. good luck to anyone else still waiting,
  2. I'm still waiting. Good luck to us.
  3. Guys, if you are accepted, do you have to submit the deposit before being able to attend the admitted students night? I was hoping to get the opportunity to tour the school, etc before committing.
  4. @maryhamm I wish the outcome was a different one for you. I hope you will continue trying to achieve your dreams because you deserve to. Don't give up. I went through a round a rejections last year that felt very defeating, but you really just have to continue trying. You just need one school to say yes lol and it WILL happen.
  5. @jyosei Are there other things we should review prior to starting? My one insecurity about this undertaking is that I will not be able to cope with all the classes we are taking, coupled with the clinicals. Are there any classes akin to orgo/physics, that are hard to grasp and require a lot of focused study?
  6. Same! OMG FInally! Good luck y'all! Prayers up.
  7. I rebuke this in the name of baby Jesus. ? I stop obsessively checking my email by 7 every day these days. We still have a few more hours left for today. If not today or tomorrow, I just hope that by Friday, we know what's up.
  8. Hoping today is the day and not Friday. Maybe they had so many good candidates and it was so hard to decide who to choose, so they expanded the class size to include all of us?
  9. @NJ-nurse I concur. I was stalking some other platforms where people posted their acceptance letters from last year, and they were notified later in the day and on different days. I saw acceptances on May 20 and 24 around 5 o clock from last year.
  10. @JyoseiWhen you got your acceptance correspondence, how did it arrive? We've been told it will be an email through nursing cas. Was this the same for your class? Did you ever receive anything physical in the mail?
  11. Is the cost closer to 40 or 50 grand? @jyosei
  12. Your blurred image looks great ?. So the uniform is required for regular nonclinical days, in addition to clinical days?
  13. @JyoseiThank you for doing this. I was searching for the njcu admissions thread from last year and I can no longer find it for some reason. Your stats are really impressive. Do a lot of your peers in your cohort have similar qualifications? Also- When was the deposit required post-acceptance and do you recall how much it was? What is the weekly class schedule, including clinicals like? How many days a week are clinicals conducted? Do you feel supported by your professors ie- that they genuinely want the students to succeed in the classes? As you've gotten to know your classmates, have you all generally gotten along as a whole? Thanks again!
  14. @maryhamm *cyberhugs* to you hon! Don't be so hard on yourself. Yeah, it sucks when you feel that all adcoms see are just straight numbers. Especially, if the numbers may be a barrier to entry. This school maintains that they are holistic, so let's all hope that's really true. It's definitely getting harder to remain distracted, that's why I posed the question to see how everyone else was coping? I've also been working out and listening to podcasts.
  15. I'm a big believer of visualization. I wrote down that I will be accepted to NJCU in my planner and I've been speaking like I'm already in the program.
  16. Guys, we are a week away from decisions. ? We may either be notified on the 15th or just going forwards. I hope it's wonderful news for several of us. How are y'all keeping sane as we wait? I've been trying to soak up every moment with my two year old because I know if/when we start school (God willing) free time will be a thing of the past ?
  17. Got mine today ? Thank God.
  18. Hi everyone, do acceptances only cone through letters in the mail, or can they be seen online somewhere - the way acceptance to gsu is done?
  19. I applied last week too. We are in for the long wait it looks like.
  20. Same on the email. I kinda expected there would be a delay, based off the previous threads on their admissions process. *sigh* more waiting.
  21. @maryhamm @AB10405 yes to margaritas lol! It's def nice to have a place where we can vent. I'll also say not to think negatively. Don't rule yourself out until it is over and it ain't over. I have a lot riding on getting into this program too, but I know that I did everything I could possibly do to submit the strongest application I could submit. All we have now are daily POSITIVE thoughts and prayers. Let's all do a collective woosah. It's all going to be alright??
  22. I heard they were expecting 1500. ? Everytime I get an email from them, my heart goes into my throat haha. Lately the emails are about the informationals for this spring. I'm stressed too. Trying to keep busy and not obsess.
