  1. Did you only have to take the 8 nursing classes? And with flexpath are there discussion board posts?
  2. No doubt you’ll be well prepared! Make sure you update your progress!
  3. Hey FitnessPleese, Just an update. My ATT came Monday 12/21 and I scheduled my exam on that same day. I took the test today 12/29 (started at 12:30pm). I finished in 79 questions with 32 SATA and 2-3 order questions. The state of Michigan issued my license just before 4pm. I really just used Mark K. We have PrepU and PassPoint through school. We had to take passpoint exams as part of our nursing transitions class. I took one extra after graduation and it shut off after 75 questions. Mark K was quite helpful. I listened to all of this lecture over the last few days and listened to diabetes, lab values and cardiac again this morning. I found NCLEX to be straight forward. No deception or trickery. Good luck and let me know how it goes!
  4. Our ATTs started arriving yesterday. Some of my classmates already have their exams scheduled for as early as January 6th. Of course, this is a state by state thing. I’m in Michigan. As for study material, the school pays for the Sylvia Rayfield review. We had a three day live review via Zoom (thanks 2020), but we have printed and online material to study. I am also using Mark Klimek and Nursing.com as well. I have been thinking about buying UWorld for their question bank. How about you?
  5. I agree with murseman24. Why wait? And like YOU FitnessPleese, I just finished my associates in nursing just over a week ago. I plan on taking the NCLEX as soon as I can. Evidence shows pass rates fall the longer you wait and the drop off starts after 35 days. I expect my ATT this week and hope to test in early to mid January. And yes, Covid is screwing things up, but not so much that we have to wait until February to test. Congratulations on finishing nursing school! Now go kick the NCLEX right in the ATT ?!
  6. Hi Amy! How did the MSN go? How long did it take for you to complete the program? How did it compare to the BSN? Do you wish you had done the RN-MSN?
  7. I got a call too. I applied about a year ago and started in January or 2019.
  8. You’re in the game. It depends on how many apply. Some people have trouble passing the HESI. You’re not a lock, but you’re in the game. Take a deep breathe and go relax.
  9. I'm in, too!
  10. Thanks for the info! I'd love to know what is in the nursing bundle for Nursing Foundations? I have been considering buying the Carpenito book now just to get started. Are you guys reading each chapter? I'm asking because I work full time to support my family. If I can start reading now, it might make balancing work, family and school a little more manageable. (Hopefully!!)
  11. Fingers crossed!!
  12. Loved Crash Course! I watched every A&P episode multiple times. I watched with my kids, too! I also hleatched the topics I was weakest in right before the HESI A2.
  13. Thanks! Just trying hard. I'm pursuing nurse late in life and want to be prepared. I have applied to school and will find out if I'm accepted late next month for a January start. With a full time job and a family, I need to make the most of the opportunity.
  14. I used Barton Community College. It's a 5 Credit class. They offer both semester courses and accelerated 1/2 session courses. I did the accelerated course and it is a lot of reading. I did the same with A&P I & II and scored 92 on the HESI in A & P.
  15. I just applied to nursing school and I am waiting to hear. I'm a ripe old 45! You got this. Apply the determination you use to run those ultra marathons and you'll be golden!
