  1. I want everyone in the forum to pat themselves on the back for getting to this point. I have been trying to get into nursing school for the past year, so I can empathize with each and every one of you in this forum. It’s stressful. It’s annoyingly competitive, but please remember that we are ALL HUMAN. Our grades are not nearly as important as our attitudes on how we continue our pursuits and how we treat one another and that’s something I wish I heard when I started applying to schools. With all of your persistence and determination, I have no doubt in my mind we will all cross paths and be successful nurses in the long run! I’m hoping off the forum, but I wish you all the best of luck and hope to meet you guys soon!
  2. I believe it was out of either 4 or 5. Each interviewer gives you a score, and they take the average of that. Hope this helps! ❤️
  3. My apologies. It would actually just be GPA x 10 TEAS x 0.4 Interview x 0.2 This is if it is based on a 100 point scale.
  4. Correct. But since the average was way higher last year, we can expect the average for this cohort to be lower as well!!
  5. Hey All! It’s 3PM so interviews are officially over! We find out next week and the anticipation will definitely be amongst all of us once again. I feel as though the interviews were so relaxed. They had said that everyone was doing such a good job with interviews that they were very pleased and since it’s the first time they conducted interviews I think that’s why it was a little more lenient then expected. Since the interviews are only worth 20% of the entire application, you can tally up your current points to get a sense of where you stand. Hoping for the best, but good luck everyone!!!!
  6. Hello! Do you know when we have to complete the CPR certification, additional classes, and health clearance? Also for the health clearance, do they cover it? Or do we have to go through our own health insurance? Thank you!! :)
  7. What date/time are your guys interview dates? Congrats everyone!! Super excited. :)
  8. I feel like this has been the longest wait ever. I’ve been checking the forum just as much as I’ve been checking my email. ?
  9. No outlook is the email. It should already be set up
  10. I honestly think it might be miscommunication between nursing department coordinators and their staff because I’ve heard several different things from several different people so I’m not really sure at this point in time
  11. Hey guys! My friend called the nursing department and they said we’ll find out by the end of the day...
  12. I think it’s just based on the application criteria (pre-req gpa, TEAS), but I’m not completely sure.
  13. Right!!!! I was thinking it was gonna be a long couple days until Friday! The anticipation is ?
  14. I believe we have to wait 2-3 weeks because that’s when the interview invitations will be sent. I’m not 100% sure but I’m hoping we find out sooner.
  15. Hello All, I emailed the nursing department and asked them when we would be finding out about interview invitations and they said within 2-3 weeks. It might be a little later then stated at the informational (1 week after application deadline) since this is the first time they are conducting the interviews.
