Mimi, how did you fare on the exam? This will be my 3rd time taking the NCLEX- first time was right out of school, I missed it by a hair (well not really, but it was pharm that really got me), the second time I didn't prepare adequately- I did not put the work in and was too distracted. Just doing QBANK questions from Kaplan that came with my school and nursing drug cards, so that was on me. Now is my third attempt and I am doing Kaplan Online. My school still was able to give me access for free, as I haven't passed yet. I hope and pray you passed, and that you are celebrating.

Lipoma, CONGRATS!!!!!!! love to see that RN next to your name. I have a few questions if you would be so kind as to answer: Background: I JUST started the Kaplan prep. Online live course- We finished Day 4 of the online review. I did the diagnostic with a 58%. Question Trainer 1 was 53% so I definitely need to review content. That's as far as I got- technically Diagnostic, QT1-3 are to be done before class, but I got enrolled very late (shout out to my teacher I am working with and Kaplan for getting me in this session so I didn't have to wait!). My questions to you are: 1) how many weeks did you prepare before you took the test 2) when did you know you were ready and 3) were your questions scores in the 55-60s like the QBANK, or were they lower and you built up? Any tips? Thank you! :)

I agree, you could easily lose $200. It's nice that the results for VA are being post quickly! In Indiana, it takes a good week right now. We do have quick results; however, I advise anyone trying to do the trick against better judgement- use an expired card or a debit card with not $200 on it. I only had made $10 in my bank account and it told me I had insufficient funds so that's how I knew I failed; as a mate did it and it said she was already registered so wouldn't even charge her card yet. Not sure if this is the case for everyone

Do you know how you did yet? I know when I first took it, I failed with all questions; however, I felt the same as you, but when I got my results back, it was Just pharm that screwed me. Hope to take it in another month or so, when I finish my ATI program.

Hey, curious to see how you did! I never heard of Klimek but was going to check him out since I've been seeing it recommended- and I know friends who got those scores on UWorld or lower and they passed/ but they also did a short Hurst review for content. I think from everything I've read people who did Hurst + UWorld + NCSBN 3 week review generally passed exam. This is what I'm doing except replace hurst with ATI- it's my FOURTH attempt and my state, Indiana, is making me do a refresher course. Kaplan wasn't that good for me- it came with my school, and I am only using it for content lectures as they are short.
