  1. I’ll be at the April 24th session since I’m out of town the 18th and 19th
  2. S emailed me back. I also got the confirmation right away. He said it just needs to be ordered by the 25th and the drug test can be done during the week. I’m going to go on my day off next week since I’m working today and they aren’t open on the weekends
  3. Thank you!! I emailed S, but I know how busy he is and was afraid he wouldn’t be able to get back to me in time. Are you able to go the same day you order it? It says it takes 2 days for the instructions to come in the mail. I was afraid the instructions wouldn’t come until Sunday and didn’t want to have to call off work to get it done

  5. Is anyone else having trouble with getting the background check/drug test going? It’s says it sent the activation link to my email, but I haven’t received anything. Also, does the package need to be purchased by March 25th or does it need to be completely finished by March 25?
  6. You'll get another confirmation email
  7. Of course! Let us know how it goes
  8. I totally agree! Call and check on your points asap
  9. Maybe they're waiting to send out denial letters until after they send out all the acceptances to the ADN program? So people don't get confused and think they didn't get in at all?
  10. They do! I got one last semester when I didn't get in.
  11. "The general education GPA for first semester applicants will be calculated using one course from each of these 6 areas plus Psychology 9 & CHE-2A or 3." This is the quote I found on RCC's website the made me realize I was calculating my points for my GPA. Don't freak out yet! I was super bummed I didn't get in last semester, but it was almost a blessing in disguise since I got into the CEP program instead.
  12. Are you sure you had 78? I thought I had way higher points as well, but I wasn't calculating my gpa correctly.
  13. I had 71 points and my art/humanities is the one in progress.
  14. I got accepted into the CEP! I had one class listed as in progress. Did anyone else get into the program that had a class listed as in progress?
  15. Smc_17: yesterday was the last day that they sent out the invites for the teas. I got mine at 5:01pm so all day I was thinking I wasn't going to get it. I'll post my points after I take the teas on Nov. 14th. I've personally been using the ATI study package and I love it!
  16. @sama34 I have a 3.6 science GPA so I'm anxiously waiting for the invite email to come in. I would go crazy if I had to wait almost 6 months to hear back from them. I'm already dying while having to wait 4-6 weeks for the TEAS invite. I've been studying my butt off for it so I'm praying to get a decent score on it. And thank you @morganashley for clearing that up.
  17. @abowloforanges I'm wondering the same thing! I would love the opportunity to enter that program. Also has anyone received an invite to take the TEAS yet? I'm getting impatient.
  18. I used adobe as well to submit the application. It was also changing my ID number to a whole number. I figured I wasn't the only one with this problem. I don't think it's a big deal. I'm sure they'll notice its like that on numerous peoples applications. This also my first time applying to nursing school so I'm really nervous! Good luck to everyone
  19. SAMA34: MSJC is a bit closer for me which is why it was my first choice. I have talked to alumni from both RCC and MSJC's ADN program and they have nothing but great things to say. I was bummed about RCC not offering points for having an AA because I know quite a few people applying who do no have one. In my opinion is doesn't make sense for someone with a BA to apply for this program when they can just do an accelerated BSN program and be done with their BSN in under 2 years. It doesn't make sense why someone would spend 2 years doing the ADN program then have to go back for their BA. The only reason I can think of is them having trouble getting into an accelerated program. After doing some research it does look like most people who have gotten into RCC's program had points in the 70s so I'm hopeful! What a bummer about not seeing the email! I beat myself up over missing MSJC's transcript evaluations; I would really beat myself up if I missed that email. I will double check my email to make sure I'm looking in the right spot. Thanks for the heads up! I have a 3.6 science GPA so I'm praying I get invited to take the TEAS. I've been using the ATI study package and I've been doing pretty well. Did you use ATI study material to prepare for the TEAS? If so do you think the TEAS was similar to the material you were studying? I'm so nervous to take the TEAS, as I've heard it's pretty tough. Good luck to you as well!
  20. Hi! I'm applying to RCC for Spring 2019. I originally wanted to do MSJC's ADN program, but missed their transcript evaluations. Does anyone else think that RCC has a really weird point system? I would've had around 90/100 points for MSJC, but for RCC I'll have only around 75 points depending on how I do on the TEAS. How many points will you have when applying?
