  1. I was #2 on the waitlist and ended up being accepted in May, but turned down my offer for another program. I'm not sure how far down the waitlist they went last year, but have heard they historically have gone through at least 10 spots and I know people who were in the 20s and got accepted in previous cohorts. The waitlist does move, but it takes a lot of time and patience and the school isn't easy to get in touch with for updates. I was second in line and it still took five months to get accepted. Hang in there!
  2. To those on the waitlist, I wanted you to know that I received my acceptance letter last night and after a lot of thought, I decided to decline my offer to attend the nursing program in my home state. I was #2 on the waitlist. Wishing you all the best of luck. I feel for all of you who have been waiting for this long. Keep the faith! The waitlist is moving

  4. No worries at all!! I appreciate you letting us know! So happy and excited for you.
  5. I'm right behind you! Thanks for the heads up ?
  6. That's so exciting! Congratulations @LAH! Do you mind sharing what number you were on the waitlist?

  8. Hi everyone! I just wanted to let those who were waitlisted know that I officially turned down my offer from Linfield for another nursing program tonight, so there should be another spot in the program opening up soon. Wishing all of you the best of luck in your nursing school endeavors! ?
  9. Hi! I hope you're doing well also. I personally have not heard anything, however, I know someone else from the waitlist reached out recently and UW told them there has been no waitlist movement and they do not anticipate the waitlist moving until June or July. I would suggest reaching out to them directly if you need to plan ahead for the Summer. Hope this is helpful!

  11. That sounds like a great idea Kara! Not sure if you can message me on this site, but if you need any help creating it I'd be happy to assist ?
  12. So did I!! Congratulations to everyone who got in! So excited to meet all of you. ?
  13. @AjOb You're welcome! Best of luck to you too-this wait has been so hard but I'm staying positive that it will pay off for us!
  14. @AjOb Yeah I was confused by that question too! I contacted UW admissions when I was finishing up my application to ask them how waitlisted people typically respond. They told me that it's fine to say I am on the waitlist and that UW SON encouraged me to apply to the University. I think once someone is admitted off of the waitlist, the School of Nursing lets UW know to admit them. From what I understand, the university application is more of a formality, but I still took the essay portion seriously LOL! If you have any other questions lmk. Hope we both get good news soon! ?
  15. @AjOb I have not heard back yet about the waitlist but I did apply for Post-Bacc admission!
