  1. Hey everyone, how’d you do? I was put on the alternate list. Congrats to those of you that got accepted.
  2. Hey everyone! Has anyone heard back yet? With spring registration opening, I’m hoping we will hear back soon!
  3. The A&PII points are all or nothing and are not factored into the GPA. The point system is out of 50 points for everyone, so people that are applying for the second time have 2 points more no matter what; unfortunately for us! Only applicants that had a 100% complete application the first time will get the two points, so if someone applied without finishing their pre-requisites, they will not receive the 2 points. They made it clear at the informational meeting that all transfer credits had to be evaluated and on the unofficial FRCC transcript for them to be valid. They also stated that the resident status would only be accepted if you provided a valid drivers license with the address within boundaries. One last thing they mentioned at the info meeting is that not one spot was given to the wait list last semester. This program is in such high demand that people are not giving up their spots. They said they had to read a stack of essays last semester to determine the last spots, so they extended the wait time to 45 days in order to give themselves enough time to properly evaluate each application. Its unfortunate that there is such a small class each semester, but it is what it is. I really hope we all get it:)
  4. I found a friend that had a copy of the criteria. It looks like I have 45.7 points. It looks like it will be close for me. You should get in for sure, Emily. They did say that they are planning on getting rid of the 2 points for second time applicants at the informational meeting.
  5. Thanks for the reply! I did not add up how many points I had and the rubric is no longer on the FRCC website. Do either of you have the admissions ranking criteria? It sounds like you were so close, Emily!
  6. Hello there! I also applied to the spring 2020 program. The waiting game is horrible! I have no idea how many points previous semesters needed. I attended the information meeting in August and the director said it varies each semester depending on who applies. It's nerve wracking not knowing where you stand. Did you apply anywhere else?
  7. Hey everyone. I know this post is a bit old. I hope you are all doing well in school! I'm currently in the process of taking my pre-requisites so that I can apply to the FRCC nursing program. I'd like to know how hard it is to get in. I'm also volunteering at Rose medical center. I'd appreciate any tips or advice!
