UC Davis Nurse Residency Program 2021
Hi everyone! I applied on 9/16 and just checked my application status and it changed to "routed for further consideration" as well. I completed my preceptorship on an LDRP unit and specified this on my cover letter. No call to set up an interview, but crossing my fingers this is good news. Good luck to everyone!! We got this! ?

California State University San Marcos ABSN, Summer 2019 (CSUSM)
Hey everyone, Just wanted to update those who are still waiting if there's a possibility of third wave admissions. I emailed a counselor today and this is what they said: "We will never know if there will be. It all depends on if the students accept the offers or if students decline or withdraw their decision. It is still early so there could be. Stay close to your emails." She didn't specify when the next round may be (since it's been about two weeks since the second wave) so it could be any week now. Doesn't sound promising but not giving up hope! Would love to know if anyone knows anything else about the summer cohort (if it's full, etc.). Good luck to those waiting!

CSUSM ABSN Fall 2019
To piggy back on the others’ answers, you can definitely apply if you have pre-reqs in progress but you do need your TEAS score in order to submit an application (it is one of the quadrants that needs to be filled out). I attended an information session and if you have classes in progress, just fill out “In-Progress” on your application. For example, I had two pre-reqs (physiology and microbiology) in progress but completed my TEAS test. I applied for the Fall 2019 semester (although I am hoping to get into the summer cohort) and sent in my application on December 6, 2018. However, because my pre-reqs were still in progress and final transcripts were not received until January 16, 2019, I was not given an evaluation until after the first and second wave of acceptances for the summer 2019 cohort. Although I believe I have enough points to get in (44 points), I may be pushed back to Fall 2019 because the cohort may have been filled already. So, because you have pre-reqs in progress it may affect your chances to get into the following cohort because your school may send transcripts late (as my school did). However, there is hope because I’ve seen in previous threads that the university admits students up until the start date of the cohort (some students may drop, etc.). I also saw in a previous thread that there may be a waitlist of people who deferred their acceptances into a certain cohort. For example, if someone was accepted into fall, but wanted to get into spring, they may be further up the list for spring cohort acceptances. Again, I am not entirely sure if this is the case; I am just reporting back what I’ve seen on previous cohort threads. Good luck to you!

Hi! Yes, I received my evaluation through my personal email. I just logged into MyCSUSM and did not see any communication from the school on that website. Hope this helps and good luck to you!!!

CSUSM ABSN Fall 2019
Hey everyone! I received my evaluation today and got 44 points! I'm hoping I'll be able to get into the summer cohort but just wanted to update you all who are still waiting. I was surprised to see that they were able to accept my nutrition class, so it looks like I will only need two GE classes my first semester. My evaluation took about 2.5 weeks since my final transcripts were received. Good luck everyone!!!

CSUSM ABSN Fall 2019
When I sent my final transcripts, I emailed Extended Learning on 1/14 to update them and a counselor replied that it will take "about two weeks" for my schools to send the transcripts and for them to upload my transcripts into their database. I called on 1/17 just to ask when I should receive an evaluation and this was when I was quoted 6-8 weeks. I waited exactly two weeks (1/28) and emailed the same counselor yesterday and she then quoted me 4-8 weeks. What I found weird was that my application was listed as complete back in December but the counselor emailed me yesterday saying that my application is "now in a completed status." So I am totally confused as to what stage my application is in... But yes, I would definitely call to confirm to see if they received your final transcripts. I believe I saw on a previous forum that a person's transcripts were not received or "lost" and this set them back about two weeks, if I can remember correctly! Please update with any information! I feel like I've been annoying the counselors lately with my emails haha!

CSUSM ABSN Fall 2019
That was me who posted that comment! ? I called Extended Learning about a week ago and a woman quoted me 6-8 weeks when ALL transcripts are in. I was a little antsy and emailed two counselors yesterday and they responded that my application was now assigned to a counselor to be evaluated and it should take 4-8 weeks. To be honest, the answers I have gotten are wishy-washy but I'm hoping it's 4-8 weeks and not the 6-8 weeks the woman on the phone quoted me! I was hoping to actually get into the summer cohort but time will tell As a timeline, my application was listed as complete with no to-do's on 12/20; however my final transcripts were not received until 1/16. I'm assuming I should receive my evaluation in about 2-4 weeks, however, one of the counselors was on vacation until 1/28... So I am really not sure when I will receive an evaluation. I'll definitely update when I receive it though!

CSUSM ABSN Fall 2019
Hi there! I submitted my application on 12/6 and got an email confirmation with my student ID number on 12/8. I received an actual login username and login instructions to MyCSUSM on 12/10 from the CSUSM student help desk. Hope that helps!

Thank you for the responses, everyone! I actually called the office today and they estimated that from the time they receive final transcripts to getting your evaluation is now 6-8 weeks... UGH, the wait is killing me! Really hoping I can get accepted into the summer cohort But anyway, thank you again for the responses and congrats to anyone who will be receiving an admission letter soon! ?

Hi everyone! May I ask how long did it take for you guys to receive your evaluation? My application was listed as "complete" with no to-do's back in mid-December, however, my final transcripts were not received until this past Monday. I know that the first wave of acceptances is coming up soon but I probably won't hear anything back for a few days until everything has been processed. I'm estimating that I am around 44-46 points so I'm hoping that's enough to pull me into the second wave. Thank you!!

Congrats on submitting your application and thanks for the memo! I submitted my application a few days after priority deadline (Dec. 6) but I'm hoping I'll have a chance when the second wave of admissions rolls around. I'm actually quite surprised at how quiet this thread is but hopefully it'll be more active once people start to get admitted! The waiting game is the hardest part of all this! Good luck to you!

Cal State San Marcos ABSN Spring 2019
Hello everyone, I know this forum has been a little quiet for a while but I have a question! I'm actually applying to the Summer 2019 cohort but I'm in a bit of a pickle. For some reason, I was under the impression that I could still submit my application after priority deadline. So, I waited about 2 days after priority deadline to submit my application, as I was waiting to receive my TEAS results. So today, I had all four quadrants ready and was going to submit, but now it says I cannot submit my application because the deadline passed (I'm an idiot -.-). I should've read everything, but this is totally my fault. Apparently I need an invitation code to even submit an application for summer now and I emailed them about that. Has anyone had any experience with this, or am I just going to have to restart a new application for fall? Thank you for your time!
