  1. Hello Everyone! I was wondering if you all have heard that San Jacinto College is developing a BSN for nursing. About two summers ago governor Abbott implemented through a Law for them to allow students to complete a BSN at a community college. Of course, as of know San Jacinto is only participating at least to my knowledge. I recently asked if they will be making an announcment but they said not yet. I hope they do it was amazing for them to implement this program for next fall.
  2. I was thinking the same. Hopefully crossing my fingers.
  3. Yes, for the titer it included Hep B, MMR, Varicella it is test # 2346 for the price of $139.00. I mispoke I bought the Hep C titer separately for $24.00 test #140659. Hope it helps!
  4. Thanks for the update! I actually didn't use labcorp. I used walkinlab.com double checked I had everything they asked basically all inclusive for a good price. I'm pretty sure you can do that as well. I went to labcorp on fairmont pkwy the ladies are very nice and get a lot of San Jac students regarding castle branch. I' m sure you can call them up regarding any questions.
  5. No questions. But I would appreciate an update whether will they will push back or not. Thanks again!
  6. Yes, I checked the website and saw the update for central. But nothing for north campus's. I understand where you are coming.
  7. I sent an email and refreshed the website for north campus several times. They haven't posted anything about extending the deadline. I hope they do.... have you heard anything?
  8. I'm totaling jumping the gun but I checked it North campus extended their application dates. As of right now I don't see that they have. I'm going to send them an email just to confirm.
  9. Yes, super frustrated! Thanks for the heads up! I only need CPR but I'm still waiting for my other things to be reviewed. I got the okay from for flu shot but the other things are still pending. I turned them in at the same time Indont get that.
  10. Do y'all mind asking to elaborate more the alternate list? I understand that they chose alternate if someone gives up their spot or they don't finish requirente. But would like more details thanks!
  11. I have a question regarding Castle branch. If we intend to apply in the Fall do we have to buy another account for that application period?
  12. i did mine on walkinlab.com. Castle brnach accpepted them.
  13. Yes, that's what I was told I am on my last one coming up in October. Then I just have to get another titer an upload to castle branch.
  14. Yes, Kelsey Seybold does. They are pricey last time I checked. I was negative but luckily my employer gave them to be for free. Check on their immunization page and they give you prices.
  15. Thanks! You are a life saver!
  16. Hello Everyone! I wanted to know is there a time limit on titers? I had mine done last August 2017 the only negative was Hep B and I am finishing my last vaccine of the series. Do I have to do another titer? Thanks!
  17. Thanks! I figured they wouldn't. Had to ask though. Thanks!
  18. Did you take your Hesi @ lonestar? Did they provide a formula chart?
  19. I was surprised I really thought they weren't having one. Thank you!
  20. That's great congrats! Would you say the questions are more organ system related ? I remember I was told know your systems. Also, know how blood flows.
  21. Yes, positive titers are perfect. I had one negative but I'm almost done with the hep b series. I'm curious about the flu vaccine. I don't think they are administering yet. Remember get your CPR from the American heart association to be valid. I'm doing AP II too! Also, Micro in the fall with Chem. Have you taken your HESI? I take it August 31 st I'm scared!
  22. To be honest, I never attended a meeting and I set up my castle branch on my own. Pretty straight forward. I paid for my drug screen and uploaded my immunization titer. Of course, it will be discussed I just jumped the gun.
  23. I just checked today the dates for Spring 2019 August 8th- Oct 8th. I'm not sure north campus is having a spring entrance. I will email them to see if they will be having one.
  24. Yes, it is crazy they have never had a delay in posting dates. Even for Fall 2018 it took awhile to pick students for the program. I know that north campus does not always have a spring entrance due to clinical space. I hope they do though, and I also hope they post dates soon too. Let me know if you hear any news I will do the same!
