I haven’t received an invite for an interview either ? and all of mine says “reviewing all applications” and 1 has been red since the 15th! But I just accepted an offer for the Medical ICU at THR Dallas which is what I wanted! Good luck to you all! Maybe that will leave a spot open for someone else!

Nothing yet! I’m thinking they’ll start sending interview invites once the application period closes on 10/26!? Maybe they’re trying to wait for as many ppl to apply before the deadline!

Covid and ED LOL! I guess I’ll have to wait and see. They haven’t done interviews yet so maybe next week we’ll find out? If they start interviews then.

I wonder why they have it open then? Cause I applied to those and my application went under review LOL so I wonder when they’d expect me to start? If I get it?

I graduate December 2020 also but I applied to both LOL it makes no sense. I wish they’d put the start dates on there like all the other hospitals did.

What is the Winter 2020 start date if anyone has any idea? would that one be start date for feb 2021 and then Winter 2021 start date of the Summer? super confusing! Also, has anyone gotten an interview yet? I know it just opened but goodness!! my nerves are just as bad as it was when I was applying to nursing school LOL.

@tinyhumannurse20 YAY! That's awesome!! I interviewed for their NICU unit tech position in April but they went on a hiring freeze due to COVID and closed the position. The manager was really nice! I really want ED or ICU though LOL

Hey guys! I'm so glad someone finally started a thread for Parkland LOL. I applied to ALL of the ICU's and ED. Only one of my applications moved to the next stage which is NICU.. it says "we are currently reviewing all applications" . When I interviewed for a tech position earlier this year that's what it said and I got an interview.. My other applications still say "applied" I'm really hoping for ED or ICU... I'm not to sure about NICU.. but I figured it's still ICU so why not. Good luck to everyone!

It was part of the requirements to have in order to submit your application. After acceptance they still ask for a copy of your immunization records along with the flu shot. The flu shot and TB vaccine/test aren't required until after acceptance. I did it prior to acceptance for spring 2019. Idk if things have changed for spring 2019 and 2018?

I think just a copy of your insurance card is fine. That's what I sent with my application.

Yes to the email. It's the same one. And for the insurances and immunizations, I believe it says "if you haven't already sent it".. I'm going to email them and ask lol cause I can't find my documents . After I sent it to them I thought that was the end of it !

I didn't get a reply back.. but I got an email for the next step process.

I also agree that mountain view would be the better choice. There's to much going on with El Centro! I wouldn't chance it

I applied with either 15 or 16, I can't remember, I don't remember what my final points were after the interview.

Aw, I'm sorry you didn't get Mountain View, I'm happy you got into another school though! Congratulations! Maybe one day we'll all be working at a hospital together! Or we may end up in clinicals together!
