  1. Yay! CONGRATS! I was accepted as well! I’ll be attending Cal State Long Beach instead so I won’t be taking my spot. Good luck to everyone!! ?
  2. Yay!! CONGRATS @laur2412
  3. Ooh okay, so it sounds like we don't need to do anything to register until we get more info at orientation. I emailed too but I didn't get a response, so thank you for sharing!!
  4. @Arty90 Thanks for answering! Yeah, I'll email and see what they say! ?
  5. Hi everyone! This might be a dumb question so bear with me LOL... but I received an email about my enrollment appointment and I'm wondering if we're supposed to register for classes at that point? I was under the impression that we would just be placed into classes with our cohort.
  6. We should! Has anyone started one yet? Excited to meet you all!
  7. CONGRATS on Johns Hopkins!
  8. Ugh. Well hang in there! Mine only just updated today so don’t lose hope. I bet you’ll find out soon!
  9. @bellissima2600 @Brianna Rinon Have you both tried checking your application status on the self service portal? I still haven’t received an email either. I just did an application status check today and it had finally updated, but I wouldn’t have known if I didn’t go sign in to check.
  10. @Arty90 @CocoaQueen THANK YOU! CONGRATS to everyone else as well!
  11. AHHH my application status finally updated! I GOT OFFERED ADMISSION! Any other second degree applicants- yours may have updated now too!
  12. @laur2412 some of us are still waiting to get our admissions decisions (“Second degree seekers”). It looks like last year everyone heard by around the 10th? So maybe official emails will go out then- I’m not sure tho!
  13. @Arty90 Yeah, I am!
  14. OK, glad I’m not alone! Haha
  15. Anyone else still waiting to hear back? My application status still says under review.
  16. Mine still says my application has been “forwarded to the academic department for review.” I was looking at last year’s thread and it seemed like 2nd degree seekers found out about a week later for some reason. Anyone else still waiting?? AHH I am so anxious to find out haha
  17. @CocoaQueen where do you see it? Did you get the application status emailed to yourself?!
  18. CONGRATS to anyone who received good news! I also got an email about the alternate list.
  19. I think it could definitely delay things. People making admissions decisions may be staying home and what not. I went to CSULB’s communications exercise and they said it might cause a delay. I also got an email from Sac State right now saying that they don’t know when they’ll be able to make decisions because of everything going on.
  20. My assessment questions were the same but my practice ones didn’t help prep me. It was stuff like “Coffee or tea?” Not helpful! LOL I’m mostly annoyed with myself about the advocate question. I have so many good answers I could have said and I blanked.
  21. @kaen Yeah, I 100% agree
  22. @fobbymomo I am kicking myself about things I could have said that I completely blanked on. I feel like I am normally pretty good and interviewing but that was not my best. Yes, hopefully soon! They said April, right?
  23. I don't want to get too detailed because not everyone has done theirs yet- but for those that have completed the assessment, how do you all feel like you did?
  24. I’m at 10am too!
  25. It kind of sounds to me like they are just doing video interviews this year, but I don’t know for sure.
