  1. I would explore other options if you have any. This is a very difficult program and the faculty is not very accommodating. I believe less than half of our cohort made it through level 1.
  2. I was in the concurrent BSN program and loved the UT Tyler courses and instructor. I did not have a great experience at TVCC so will be transferring into a full time BSN program at UT Tyler.
  3. Hi! Yes, my 3309 begins today. I have patho in the Fall. My professor just emailed and said that Canvas would not be available until later this afternoon. Good luck and thanks for your reply.
  4. Did your course begin today? Mine shows that I am enrolled in Canvas but the coursework is not published yet? I emailed the professor. IT was unable to help. NURS 3309 is the course I am checking on for UT Tyler
  5. Aria how do we sign up for this? Is anyone else doing the concurrent BSN through UT Tyler? I am trying to figure out why my coursework is not showing up in Canvas today? Thanks!
  6. Does anyone know if any of the curriculum is online? Or what the hours/schedule is like? I know the clinical will obviously not be, but was curious about the possibility of any other courses? Is anyone else considering the concurrent BSN through UT Tyler?
  7. Just found out today that I got accepted. CONGRATS to everyone!
  8. Does anyone know how many points the alternates had? I am looking to apply this next application period but will only end up with 40 points-max.
  9. I am applying for Spring 2019. I am taking the HESI for the first time tomorrow morning. I only have 15 points prior to taking the HESI. I am hoping to do well enough that it will boost my total points, but if not I am prepared to reapply after completing additional courses. I feel confident on all portions except for the A&P. I have only used the study book from amazon and study apps. What are the support courses? The additional "non-nursing specific" courses required that are not the prerequisites? Also, do you all know if Hep A is required? Can I just do the first immunization now? Good luck to all!
