The writing sample (worth 5 points) was describe 3 qualities or skills that would make you an exceptional nursing student. The interview is behavioral based questions we got 2 questions each. my first question was something like give an example where you had to prioritize several tasks and how did you handle the situation, then my 2nd question was define nursing and why you want to be a nurse. I remember another question that was asked was provide an example where you failed at something and how did you manage. Hope it helps!

I got accepted and I had 23.6. Everyone I interviewed with had medical experience but I had none and still got in for those who might be future applicants! Never give up.

Hi there. I noticed the CT exam was removed from the ranking form. Have they said now what points would most likely get you an interview? I assume its less now that the CT exam points will not count.

I am going to re take it hopefully get a higher score. I am not sure since I will be taking the hesi again this fall. How many points do you think you will apply with?

Hi there! I will also be applying for Spring 2019. I took the Dosage calculations in 2017 and passed scores are good for 2 years. I am currently taking pharmacology and I just need Micro to complete the support classes. I took the critical thinking exam in Feb 2018 to get some practice. I got 10.2 out of 15 points. I will be taking the HESI in the fall. I have all my vaccines as well currently waiting to have the 3rd dose in August for the hep b antibody.
