  1. Was wondering... has anyone purchased all the textbooks on the booklist yet? I really wish PCC had an in-person orientation to go through some of the stuff in the Admission Packet in case we had questions.
  2. You've got a tricky situation. Have you started working through your PCC Admission Packet yet? Quite a few deadlines with things to pay for.
  3. I've decided to enter PCC program over Rio Hondo.
  4. @Supenacha23 I see that you're in the PCC nursing program Fall 2017. Would love to ask you some questions if you don't mind. I'm trying to decide between Rio Hondo and PCC program. Right now I'm leaning towards PCC reason that PCC's clinical are at hospitals I'd like to work at, and PCC has good reputation with employers. I 've heard some things about PCC's program that are concerning though. Would you share your experience? Thanks!
  5. Hi Supernacha23 How do you know this? Are you a current student in the program?
  6. Thanks =). I got the email Friday morning. The letter was dated 11/27 and shows that it was a Resend 11/30. Don't know why that is.
  7. I got my acceptance email a couple of days ago :) Is there a fb group for this cohort?
  8. @Codedayluong I have 85 points and have not gotten an acceptance email. I'm sure they will be sending out more notices =) Congrats to everyone who got an acceptance! Best of luck to ya!
  9. Good luck PinkC =)
  10. Sorry I was referring to Pasadena. I apologize for the confusion!
  11. Hi, just wanted to chime in regarding PCC. My counselor @ PCC told me that for the last graduating class had 100% NCLEX pass rate. HOWEVER, 18 students had dropped/kicked out of the program in that class. However true this is, I don't know.
  12. Requested to join as well =)
  13. Congrats carlosisagee!
  14. Totally understandable! That is why I chose RHC as one of my top choices; it's one the closest to my home. Well, the best of luck to you all!
  15. Good luck! I hope you get into the school you want the most!
  16. Which other programs are you trying for? I'm not sure if you'd be able to hold off on the uniform fee, since the letter sounds like we will be doing uniform fitting the latter half of the day. I'd imagine they do this so that they know you are serious about choosing their program. Otherwise, the spot will be given to next eligible applicant. You could call and ask. =)
  17. Congrats PinkC! Excited to start the program with you guys!
  18. Thanks instax! I actually got my acceptance letter today!!
  19. @instax Congrats, that's wonderful! Very happy and excited for you =) When I called RIO earlier today, the lady from the office just kept saying "November". She made it sound like they hadn't sent out the letters yet. Now I'm feeling so anxious.
  20. @pandaeyes lol... Well, I was kind of persistent to get the information. She did start by telling me in November, but I was like, umm, but the fire safety meeting is November 9th. Don't we need to have a little advance notification? Haha. So she was like, we'll be sending out notifications FIRST to those who have been accepted the last week of October. **fingers crossed** Hope we'll all get some good news this week!
  21. Hi PinkC =) Yes, you'll need an official copy sent to PCC along with a printout of the TEAS transcript submitted with your application.
  22. I called Rio's nursing department yesterday. The lady on the phone said they will send out notices to those who have been selected the last week of October.
  23. Yes you automatically add 3 points! It's a freebie for everyone =) At least that's what my counselor told me.
  24. @Armani I just signed it after printing out the typed application.
