  1. Thank you for your assistance, I got my offer this past Friday and I'm so happy. I'm supposed to be starting in April, I can't wait ?
  2. Hey, I saw this and decided to comment since I had an interview for Radys today. I interviewed for the Main OR as an experienced nurse and everything went relatively good. I got my reference check not too long after the interview. I did have a question though. How long after the reference request did you guys get an offer letter?
  3. So this is going to be my last update, unfortunately I was not selected for the Advanced Heart Failure. I am giving the chance to interview for the neurology/stroke unit but I know that’s not something that I want to do so I’m not going to take it. With that being said, I wish everybody the best of luck in their careers and maybe one day we will cross paths soon.
  4. Hey guys, just a small update. So I emailed the recruiter today after it almost being a week after my interview and hearing nothing. I was told he spoke with the unit manager today and for me to “please stay tuned.” I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad sign so im still playing the waiting game. Good luck to everybody who has upcoming interviews.
  5. OK, that lets me know they’re still deliberating. What units did you apply for if you don’t mind me asking?
  6. I had 3 people interview me and it would’ve been 4 but it was her day off. I think 2 were charge nurses and one was the ADN of the advanced heart failure unit. They mostly asked questions about why I want to work there and about my experience. I like to think that they were satisfied with my responses. At the end they asked my preference for day or night shift and I’m hoping that’s a good sign ?. What’s typical CA pay? Because I’m from NYC and the range for new grads or nurses with little experience is $45-$55.
  7. Did anybody hear back from the Santa Monica location yet?
  8. Hey everybody so I just had my interview and lord was I so nervous. Since I’m in the transitional program they asked a lot about my ambulatory experience, how I deal with difficult patients, about myself in general. I think they were satisfied that I had some experience with cardiac patients and EKGs. When I asked about the length of orientation, it sounds like he didn’t really know the length which lets me know this program is very new and up in the air (or he just didn’t want to tell me) At the very end they asked if I prefer day or night shift (so I think that’s a good sign / IDK ????) but I will be sending an email in a few thanking them. Happy hump day y’all
  9. Thank you!! I just Have a few questions before you leave…how was the interview and the starting pay if you don’t mind sharing. I would assume it’s a lot (or better than what I’m making)
  10. Well my story is a little complicated. So I did the new grad RN application and my two units of choice were Main OR and Med-Surg. However, I ended up not getting picked because I had more than 9 months of experience. Then I found I was eligible for a different program but we weren’t able to chose our units. I was just handed an interview with the heart failure unit. I guess I’ll just have to wait another year for OR.
  11. Thanks!! Are you still in orientation? I wanted to do OR but I guess OR doesn’t want to do me lmao. Im just super nervous about tomorrow. I’m meeting with basically the nurses and directors of the unit. How was the interview process for you? Was it hard? What kind of questions did they ask?
  12. Thank you!! ? My best friend said the same thing, and I'm hoping that's the case. Everything happened so fast. The recruiter asked for my availability this week to interview with 6S yesterday and first thing this morning I got my interview date. Also, congratulations to you!! Which unit did you apply for? Maybe it’s one of them
  13. Hey I just wanted to update everybody on what’s going on. So unfortunately I was ineligible for the new grad program because I had more than 9 months experience. However, I was eligible for a transition to practice program (I’m not 100% sure what it is either) but with that being said, I’m supposed to be interviewing for the Advanced Heart Failure Unit tomorrow and I’m super nervous but really confident (also, this unit was not my preference but I’ll take it). So I’ll have an update on everything tomorrow. I hope Everyone is doing well ☺️
  14. I love how I am finding out about all of these New Graduate residencys' this week. I want to apply for this even though I would already have 6+ months of acute care by the time the residency starts (well, I work Same-Day Services). You know what, I will apply anyway and see if they will choose me.
  15. It sounds like we should be hearing back starting next week or the week after. I am super excited. Off-topic, but it's almost been a week and the New Grad applications are still open. I guess they still have not recieved the 200 candidates who meet the requirements.
