    So, has the CPNE been eliminated? replaced with some sort of clinical? I ask because my wife is almost done with LPN school and is considering getting her RN the way I did. I got my RN from Excelsior's in 2009. I failed the CPNE the first time but passed the second. That was very expensive to repeat. Hotel, airline tickets, etc.

    I am a fire department paramedic and received my RN from Excelsior's in 2009. I never had a problem getting my first nursing job and have been working as both a Fire lieutenant/ Paramedic and ER nurse since 2009.
