  1. I was eligible for a bonus as a liaison as well, but with the stringent criteria, our team only bonuses once in 4 years. I also earn more as a hospital case manager than I did as a liaison and I'm eligible for a bonus every 6 months.
  2. I have actually done both positions. I was a liaison for 4 years and started in case management 7 months ago. The liaison position is very focused on the marketing and building referral sources. They set lofty goals for you and you have multiple meetings daily and weekly to discuss your goals and if you're meeting them and if not, what are the barriers. There is very little use of your clinical skills. Not to mention, you're traveling daily and never know day to day where all you will be going. I find that I enjoy case management much more. I like that I no longer have to travel every day and that I'm utilizing my clinical skills. It really depends on if you prefer marketing or a more clinical position. Best of luck to you.
