  1. 3 year of nursing experience and I've only gotten literal cents added to my pay check. Nursing isn't an occupation where you expect to be paid well
  2. Nursing is a 24/7, not just your shift. If the intervention cannot be reasonably be completed on your shift, it will have to be the responsibility of the next shift.
  3. I've been in the ICU for about a year and a half now. I got accepted just recently to school with the knowledge I'll have another 6 months in the unit, which I'm happy about. I feel experience is key in any and all types of nursing, but ultimately it's a personal feeling.
