  1. I have friends that are APRNs, but I wouldn't trade positions with them in 100 years. Love everything there is to being a CRNA.
  2. I am salary but have the opportunity to work extra at locum pay for the extra time. As a new CRNA I work anywhere from 45-55 hours/week.
  3. In my class we had multiple students with minimal ICU experience, and even a few who had PICU experience. My suggestion is that after you apply you will still have a year before you begin school. So use that time to take in every experience you can. Apply when you feel ready.
