Just received an alternate offer for Trent to Honours Science, I do not see the purpose of that when I am about to receive my BSc lol

They send an email of the program brochure which you should get soon, and it does include the prep semester

Oh that could be bad for me because my cGPA is below 3.0, and it would be impossible to raise it even if i got straight A+'s to meet the conditional offer. I'll have to ask admissions to confirm

"Proof of Successful Completion of Current Academic Studies at University Level with an Overall Minimum Grade Point Average or 3.0 or 74%". Is this referring to my cGPA or just the current session GPA?

I just converted to 4.3 scale now, and I got 3.28 gpa.

I did that on the 4.0 scale using an app called OLSAS gpa calculator

You use the 4.3 gpa scale found on UNB's website. Then do (credit hours × value of numerical grade on 4.3 scale) for each course, add all the courses then divide by total number of credit hours. Example: C+ for a 4 credit course is (4×2.3)= 9.2 A- for 1 credit course is (1×3.7)= 3.7 (3.7+9.2) / 5= 2.58 gpa

I got off the waitlist as well, and I calculated my last 2 years to be 3.2. I probably calculated it wrong though (had to convert from a higher scale).

What happens if I already have all the preparatory courses? Do I get to finish the degree in 2 years instead of 2.5?

Odd, some people are waitlisted like myself, and some have 'no decision' for humber. Do you mind sharing your gpa? Being on the waitlist could just mean a polite way to reject OR they base the waitlist position on GPA ranking from highest to lowest.
