  1. The class normally take 3-4 months to complete but if you have the material beforehand you can have the entire class done within 1-2 months. Email me, [email protected] , I can help you out if you decide to take the class!
  2. For those planning on taking online CHEM1 (chem 1010) with UNE, I thought I would share my experience. The course is very "problem based". Homework is assigned, but not mandatory, however, it's pretty much impossible to do well on the quizzes without having done the homework problems. There are also labs of most of the 14 modules. The labs are also time consuming but they reinforce some of the concepts taught in lecture which definitely helps. The labs are ordered via an external supplier, and are shipped to you within the first week of you starting class. If you are doing well on the quizzes, it is a good sign that you will also do well on the proctored midterm and final exam. I'd say that the work load is moderate, but not too much so long as you dedicate a few hours a week to it (4-6hrs). If you are a self starter and self motivated, the course shouldn't be too difficult, however, if you require motivation, that may be an issue, as you will have to maintain a pretty consistent pace given that the experiments will take time to complete. If you are in the course, shoot me and email (jackrob91@outlook), and I can provide you with some of the course resources, including quizzes, and practice questions for the exams I saved.
  3. Some concepts you want to be familiar with for the orgo final include; Boiling point relationships, Electron density , IUPAC names, conjugate acids/bases, Functional groups. aldol condensation, Jones reagent, Williamson synthesis, Grignard reaction. Those types of questions I saw come up on my final. You can email me and I may have some example questions for it; jackrob91@outlook
  4. I have recently taken ochem and they have changed quite a few things around since many of these past commentors have taken the class. They now instead of having just a proctored midterm and final, have multiple proctored unit tests and a proctored final. The material and course difficulty is about the same. If you want more information and possible course resources I saved send me a DM or email me jackrob91@outlook
  5. For those reading about the UNE microbiology as of Spring 2018, the class did change somewhat since the earlier portions of the thread. The class now uses HOL software for its lab portion. There are about 12 labs to complete with a more "hands on" component involved in each one. They have also added a lab final in addition to having to take the normal lecture final. Both of which are still proctored by proctorU.
  6. It honestly all depends on how fast you want to complete your nursing program. If you choose to go down the private nursing school route, it will cost more money for the same classes you would take at a state school but they are more lenient with the grading and overall pass rates. Expect to study a bit harder for the NCLEX exam since generally the pass rates are a bit lower.
