I would be doing a BSN with maybe a NP in the future when I have experience. I do care about people, but I think that a lot of my research with nurses getting a little berated by patients just leave me having doubts. If you don't mind me asking which specialties are more technical? I know that beside nursing might not be my thing, but I don't know if that is med-surg or ICU

Hi everyone, Right now I am in my second semester at a community college and I'm coming here for some advice. For some time now I have been flip flopping between pursing Nursing or getting a business degree. I feel like I could do nursing and I would like some aspects of it but other aspects of it completely drive me away from pursing nursing. Some examples are some of the hard dirty jobs are like cleaning up diapers and throw up. But, on the other hand pushing meds and starting IV's really excite me. I tend to like some of the technical aspects of nursing. My school has an EMT and paramedic program, but the problem is that they really don't get paid as well as nurses. I'm sorry if this sound conceited, I am just trying to be as honest as possible. I guess I am just really scared of the future and just trying to not make any mistakes. I guess it is just the perfectionist in me. Also, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section. Any advice would be appreciated.
