  1. ATI Manuel sucks. Get the mometrix study guide and take as many practice exams as possible.
  2. First of all the ATI study Manuel does absolutely nothing to truly prepare you, unless you are fresh out of your pre-req classes. The Mometrix was awesome about details, but what really helped me was utilizing my anatomy books and quizlet. Quizlet allows you to open other people's flashcards whom are also taking the teas test. There are great online random practices tests as well. Simply Google them. You may have to get creative to find the most resources to help prepare you as never assume that 1 or 2 are enough based on other people. Everyone learns differently. Doing the practice tests over and over helped me become comfortable with the structure of questions. I also timed myself to not stress out about finishing on the day Iof the test. What makes the TEAS difficult is that it is not cut and dry answers. Two or even three maybe right but you need to find the BEST answer especially in math and English. Some other helpful things that I found useful is between each section, pause and stretch. Clear your head and breathe before continuing on. I have pretty bad anxiety and fidget due to ADD and ADHD. This may sound weird but I brought a tiny ball made of thread that I fidget with in my non dominant hand. While I'm reading and concentrating I fidget with it and it literally helps ease the stress. All my energy is being used by the ball of thread and I don't get nervous or anxious. It also helps me tune out distractive noise in the testing room. I took the test 2 times and the first time was horrific. I didn't pace myself and dwelled too long on the math section. I ran out of time basically not answering half of the questions. Ironically the second time around I got a 90% in math. CRAZY! But I busted my butt and got as much outside resources and methods that I could get and it made such a huge difference then trying to prepare with 1 or 2 Manuel's. Although second time around I knew what I was in for. I wish I could have still got a higher score but I got In the advanced category. Don't assume you may know a section, go over it until it's imprinted. Practice and you will do great. Stay positive!
