  1. I just heard back from my recruiter, and he helped me out.
  2. Thank you. I'm hoping they might have some open spots somewhere in the neuro line, even if it's not ICU. Like their IMUs or something. I'll definitely reach out to my recruiter for more information! Maybe I'll get a call from an entirely different unit. Fingers crossed for something.
  3. Does anyone know about getting interviewed for your second choice option? My second choice says "application received", but it's for the Neuro ICU at TMC, I don't know if they've filled all positions yet within the neuro line, so I'm hopeful. But I'm worried I won't get anything at all.
  4. Hi! I read your story and congratulations! I know you're already in school at this moment, but just wanted to tell you congrats! I graduate nursing school this December during all of the hiring freezes due to covid, but spots are opening up. I'm thinking about heading into CVICU or Shock Trauma ICU. I saw the document you posted along with the books you used to study on the first page. I was wondering if you could also PM about how you wrote your personal statement? Whenever you have time of course. :)
  5. I think so. I just printed a copy, filled and signed that, scanned it, and sent the images to the email they had listed.
  6. I believe they said we would receive an email back about the December 7th meeting, after the confirmation deadline has passed.
  7. I tried finding it, but I couldn't
  8. I got my acceptance letter from TWU, so I will most likely be giving up my seat at UTMB for Summer 2019. So there will be a seat available soon! :)
  9. Holy moly! I GOT IN I applied to Houston Stats Points 51.9 TEAS Reading: 87.2 Math: 93.8 Science: 91.5 English: 79.2 Overall: 88.0
  10. Thanks for calling. I'll be working during the time they're scheduled to send out emails, so hopefully that takes some of the waiting anxiety off my shoulders lol
  11. The spreadsheet (excel spreadsheet) is the "worksheet". You just fill out the appropriate hours for each class, the grades you earned etc. It should give you a grey colored number near the bottom right side.
  12. I hope so. I'm so excited. Although on the emails they sent about eligibility, it said they hope to send out acceptances, waitlists, and denials late October, early November.
  13. I'm not Spring 2019, but Summer 2019. I plan to go to TWU instead if I get accepted.
  14. Everything I've recieved from UTMB has been to my personal email account.
  15. Not sure, but I'm also freaking out because we're going to hear back soon!
  16. From what I know, when you're accepted they'll tell you to accept on the MyStar (through Student Services) and then they'll give you info about an email address. Until then there really isn't anything to check on MyStar. Unless you have things on the To-Do side.
  17. It's basically an email TWU sends you to let you know if you're eligible or ineligible for being looked at for admission. If you're ineligible, they'll let you know how to rectify it.
  18. I just received my eligibility email from TWU at 1:26pm! My last name starts with Ez- .
  19. Nice! What does your last name begin with?
  20. Same, except TWU is October.
  21. Thank you, and of course, My teas scores* Composite: 88 Reading: 87.2 Math: 93.8 Science: 91.5 English:79.2 The email did say that it was because of a strong academic background, and said I kept a 3.75 GPA throughout my last courses of prerequisites.
  22. Mine is "Ez-" so I'll be one of the last ones in the A-F group. I haven't received one by the way.
  23. I didn't interview.
  24. I was sent an early admission email for acceptance. They day I have to accept by Sept. 28th, but I'm waiting out for TWU since I live in Houston. It comes with $2000 for the first semester. Should I pay the deposit and wait?
