  1. So I just got waitlisted too. did anybody get accepted? are they waitlisting us because they are pushing the may 2020 cohort to fall 2020 and so we are not guaranteed a spot for fall?
  2. What you said about the voluntary withdrawl is true. The school decided to not seek accreditation with the ACEN. However, I do believe they are regionally accredited with CCNE or the northwest one (cant quite recall right now), which might be why they chose not to get accreditted with the ACEN probably. But I might be completely wrong. I would maybe try to see if one can get in contact with these accreditation organizations instead of just solely relying on what counselors say as well. Since you are gonna be paying lots of money, you should make sure it will be worth it in the end.
  3. I'm hoping to get into Henderson. What about you?
  4. thank you so much for your reply! I tried everything with both nursingcas and national student. Luckily, on my fourth try of getting my school to mail my transcript, I just got an email today saying nursingcas recieved it. Thanks and wish you luck!
  5. Although I personally do not know for this program, I think once the two week deadline to pay for enrollment passes for those who have been accepted, there should be a better idea and maybe more information around then about your chances, at least based off of other programs i applied to.
  6. I'm also in the process of looking for housing and possibly a roommate. I was looking at applying to the apartments offered through the school, but still haven't finalized anything yet.
  7. I believe I heard that they dont allow deferments, but I might be wrong...
  8. Thanks! I was interviewed on May 18th
  9. I got a call and an email. So I would watch for both.
  10. Thanks! I wish you luck and hope to get to meet you!
  11. All she said was that she was making the calls tonight but not necessarily if she is gonna get through them all since I believe it's almost 8pm in rochester, so maybe somebody else will finish the rest of them tomorrow or maybe even Monday, but that's my assumption. Here are my stats: Micro lecture: B Micro lab: A Anatomy: A Nut: A Hum dev: A Stats: A Physio: I had taken elementary physio lecture at my school and got an A. However, due to units issues since my school is a quarter system, I had to take an upper division physio course and got a B+ Major: BS in Biopsychology GPA: 3.52 Also, my interview only lasted a little less than 20 min and I thought that was a bad sign since others said their's were longer, so if you are stressed about interviews, as long as you felt like your responses were good you should be fine regardless of how long it was.
  12. I wouldn't give up hope yet. I think she has quite a few calls to make and maybe wont be able to do them all tonight? Maybe somebody else will be sending out calls tomorrow too since I know that last cohort a lot of people got calls a day or two after others did.
  13. I just got a call and got in! Hopefully others are getting calls. Nancy wont be in the office tomorrow so people should be getting the calls tonight!
  14. Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum, but I am in the process of applying to Roseman. I just received my application from my advisor. Apparently, even though all of my prereqs were done in May, I was not able to start the application until after I graduated (which was just last week). I was wondering, do you think NursingCAS will receive a transcript on time from me to submit my application? I was told I had until July 8th, but the sooner the better. I had all but one of my transcripts received by NursingCAS since all but that one were received electronically. NursingCAS says that you can submit electronically through National Student Clearinghouse, but it never allowed me to submit it, thus I have been resending it for a whole month by mail (which always gets lost :( ). Did anybody else use National Clearinghouse to send electronic transcripts and were able to submit it successfully? Wish everybody luck with their interviews!
  15. Congrats!!! I wish I thought about doing this as well since I already had to put down a deposit for another school. Wish you luck in the program!
  16. They never said what day this week. From what I've noticed from other cohort posts is that they will call you about your acceptance. However, I may be wrong about this.
  17. I'm 22 and coming from out of the state. How about you? Do you live in state and have a family?
  18. No. I'm from California. I've applied mostly out of state due to many of the programs being limited and in high cost areas in CA that I decided if I'm gonna be moving far from home and paying rent might as well look at programs out of state as well. How about you?
  19. Considering they were still doing interviews last week maybe they still held off on making any descisions... I also agree with the price. I know a lot of absn programs cost this much, but the reason I'm hoping to get into Rochester is the fact that it is 12 months compared to some other schools I applied to that not just cost more, since they're longer programs, but also because I know rent and the amount of interest I would accumulate would have been a lot more. That's why I ended up rejecting a school recently and hope I get into Rochester's program. All of this is a bit stressful at this point, especially having to deal with loans that big. Never needed to take one out for my undergrad but will be now.
  20. For the financial aid revision form, I selected “Change in Enrollment” in order for it to allow me to check the box for “request cost of attendance to be updated”. For the the boxes asking for “Tuition Rate per unit” and “Flat Rate per unit” did anybody just enter the amounts that are listed on the school's website?
  21. Thank you so much!
  22. For the cost of attendance, did anybody else get an email saying that the estimated cost to attend is based on an average of 3 units? I feel that I am misinterpreting the email they sent out but just wanted to see if anybody else got this sort of a response
  23. The transcripts we uploaded were considered unofficial. Official ones have to be mailed only if accepted to the program. For financial aid it also took me awhile to find it. Log in to myusf and instead of clicking "view and pay" try opening the "banner self service" tab. After clicking that, you should be redirected and be able to see the financial aid tab. The only steps I completed so far were intent to enroll and paying the deposit for now. Are there any other one's due soon that I dont know of? There is also the deadline for accepting financial aid and the background check stuff, for example, but I dont think they are due yet. To me it seems that there are many links for a lot of different things to be completed, so it is a bit hard staying on top of it.
  24. For those that were accepted, were any of you able to pay their deposit? Whenever I go to the deposit section, it says my deposit is unavailable and I wanted to see if anybody else is having this issue.
  25. Hi! Congrats on your other acceptance! I called on Friday and they said the 3rd week of June. I'm in the same boat as you. I also have to pay a deposit this week since we wont hear back on time and the only way the schools tend to give you extensions is if there is some issues like them not sending you the cost of attendance before you make your decision.
