Hi there! Sure! With UDM I got the sense that they focused the most on extra curriculars and how you’ve displayed leadership in your career as a nurse. The interview was very relaxed and get to know you type questions. My best advice is to be your self and professional.

I am grateful to be a in a position where I’ve been accepted into two amazing programs here in Michigan. Im hoping to gain insight from UDM and WSU SRNAs as well as graduates on this! Which program do I choose? I may be leaning more towards UDM at the moment but any advice anyone has to share would be much appreciated! I know there is a major price difference but that does not deter me in this decision. Ultimately, both great programs and same outcomes.

I asked the day of my interview when we could expect to hear back and they said mid to end of August. So I guess it has to be this week. Waiting is killing me

No, nothing yet. I have heard that they interview mid-march. Hopefully they send out some type of email notifying us of their decision so that we don't stay guessing.

Hi there everyone! So, here's my situation and it may seem pretty crazy but any help would mean a lot! I am a new grad RN who aspires to become a CRNA. As a new grad, starting off in the ICU to gain CRNA experience isn't in the books at the moment. I will have to work on a step down unit at either of the two hospitals I am applying to before transferring to an ICU within the hospital. Both hospitals are trauma 1. At one I was offered a position on the neuro step down unit, on the other hand, the second hospital I was offered a position on a cardiac or medical PCU. Both great floors and both great hospitals. I feel most familiar with the neuro step down hospital because I had clinicals there but it is also about 40 minutes from home, the PCU one is 15 min. I just don't know which route to take, I don't know which hospital to gain experience from and present to potential CRNA schools. Any advice would truly help!
