  1. Are you full or part-time? Medical or Homestead?
  2. To calculate your CS multiply your SCIENCE GPA x 10, and your HESI score x 0.6. Then add both. good luck man!
  3. OMG!!! These people are definitely the most unprofessional people I've ever met. Did you go to the campus and speak with them? We have a link posted here (I think is in page 16,17 or 18) We are running like chickens without head due to timelines that we have to meet before july 12th. I am very sorry for what you're going through, hopefully, they call you these days you still have time until the end of the month to sort of know if you are getting accepted or not.
  4. Hello jejo10, Which program did you apply? Whats your cs? We got called by the 16th. I've head of a case in which mdc lost their application of a guy already, so you might wanna start heading by medical campus and ask if they have submitted your application.
  5. Don't lose hope. Yesterday there were some people at the medical campus who had applied for both programs (like me) and we had declined the other option, so you should be getting the email by next week. There are 3 waves so nothing is said yet. Stay positive.
  6. I asked yesterday at the nursing department and the lady at the counter told me to read and follow the link ? The way is written on the instruction requires 2 separate bacgrounds, but I think is silly to do both. so I went to the background place in Hialeah and the lady there was much nicer and told me to call them on the phone and ask, so I did. The lady at the campus told that it was AHCA only. AHCA is about 105 dollars ? Another way to notice if we will need another background is by scanning our paperwork into complio, so dont delay on getting everything ready by orientation day. Good Luck guys. I'm attending Medical campus for the generic full-time program See you soon guys
  7. Hello Prophetajay07, people are saying that we should be getting those letters starting the 19th of this month through the end of the month. It is hard to predict at this point when those emails are really going to be sent. Btw, when did you apply? what is your GPA and Hesi score?
  8. Lina, your score is pretty high, I think you are definitely In. My gpa is 4.0 and I did 84 on the Hesi. My CS is 90.
  9. Hello SahylyFutureBN87, I see you have applied in February, I did it on March and yes the wait seems forever. What is your competitive score? I'm also very anxious, hopefully, we all can make it.
  10. Yes linamarupoli, this wait is killing us ? I was also checking past posts and like you said they got their acceptance letters around the 19th of June. let's control our nerves lol.
  11. Well, as I said before, I called recently and the advisor told me that we should know between the First and the second week on June, so I think you should wait for MDC to give you an answer and then make your decision. Let's stay positive ?
  12. Hello MzSaveYoLife, I'm taking the last 3 courses left to get my AA. I'm trying to get ahead so I don't have to go back and take those courses after I graduate. Also, finishing those courses can be my plan B in the case of not making the cut for MDC so I could apply for a University. I'm taking Statistics, Humanities and Federal Politics to complete my AA
  13. Hello Mskaty, If we could only know the scoring average, we could have an idea about who gets in and who doesn't. I called last week to ask about a course that I needed to take and also see I could get some info about score average and when would they be sending the acceptance emails, but the only thing they told me was to wait until the second week of June I guess we just have to wait, then. Personally, I wouldn't wait for MDC if Barry's dateline is near otherwise I would wait for a little while to see if I get into MDC's program. This waiting period is very stressful. Let's keep our hopes high. ?
  14. Hello Sweetjun, I have applied for both Generic Full and part tie program as I was advised to do it in case I wasn't able to make it into one group, but personally, the more I read the more doubts I have about having applied for the part time option. Idk. Hopefully, they called me for the full time option first.
  15. Hello, shan_pg, Seems that your CS is 85 which is a decent score. let's keep positive. Hopefully, we all can make it into the program.
  16. I have no idea, lol. But if the scrubs across the street are cheaper, then, why not get them for there. we need someone else to answer.
  17. She got accepted for spring 2018. She was also struggling as she told me that the first semester was very hard for her, but that's another subject.
  18. LeoBSN, no one knows who will get into the program. Remember we're just posting and speculating as the days go by. I got a friend who got accepted into the accelerated program with a lower competitive score than yours. Don't get discouraged and stay positive.
  19. Hello JayRTRM, that is a good question. However, your best shot is to ask directly to an advisor at the medical campus. If you live far from the medical campus, call to advicement (305 237 4141) and ask to speak with an advisor to clear your doubt. Are you planning to apply for the spring?
  20. Thanks for the tip. I think I'll do the same thing once I get accepted.
  21. Hello nursemeech, my bad I misread your post. I thought you said you've applied to the accelerated program. However, I didn't see many people in these forums saying that they had applied for the bridge program, that might be a good thing and for you (fingers cross). Are you an LPN?
  22. Hello Francely03, you have a 91 competitive score which is very high, but good luck on your test tomorrow. I heard that the test the second tie is not the same and usually a little harder. hopefully you can tell us if that is true or not. Good luck again.
  23. hello nursemeech, your comptetive score is 84 if your gpa is accurate at 3.5. The only concern that we all have is that we dont really know what the average competitive score is. however, I see that you've applied for the accelerated program. I think you might have a good chance there. I have a friend who had applied with a lower score than yours last semester and she got accepted to the accelerated program. good luck!
  24. According to other posts, the competitive score is what will define the people who is going into tbe program. It is the combination of your science GPA and the Hesi score. The GPA is multiple by 10, and the Hesi is multiply by 0.6. Then add the 2 results and that is your competitive score.
  25. Excellent! I believe you have a 92 competitive score which put you in a very high chance to get into the program. Congrats!
