  1. Hello fellow nurses! I come to you in need of some interview advice. I am a med/surg nurse of over three years now, but my career goal has always been the NICU. I finally have an interview with a NICU manager and director on Tuesday, and I AM SO NERVOUS. I want this more than anything in the world, and I want to make sure that shows in my interview. So I have been researching some common interview questions (Why this hospital? Why NICU? How have you dealt with conflict in the past? What is your biggest strength? Weakness?). Any suggestions on how to answer these questions in a way that will show them how much I want this? I'm mostly worried about getting tongue tied and saying the wrong thing because I am nervous. I KNOW this is my calling, and I KNOW I would be an asset to their unit. I just to make them know it. Advice? Words of encouragement?
