The best advice I can give is to give yourself time. 3 years is a long time, and you will want to study as much as you can to regain your knowledge. I think there are refresher courses you can take online for people in your position. I would definitely look into that before starting a specific NCLEX study program. Once you feel refreshed on general nursing knowledge, I highly recommend UWorld. It is expensive but worth every penny! I also used this 35 page nclex study guide (https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/nclex-study-guide-622449.html) that has been circulating the internet. I found both of those resources immensely helpful for the exam and passed on my first try in 75 questions! I'm so sorry that you had to wait so long, but I know you can do it if you just take the time. Best of luck!!

72% is great! But the best way to gauge how you will do on the exam is asking yourself - "do I really understand the rationales?". I had an average of 58% correct before I took the exam and passed in 75 questions. Best of luck!!

Hi! Do not be discouraged. It's ok if you didn't pass you first time! Its very likely you will pass the second time if you apply yourself and study the questions you got wrong. Make it a goal to thoroughly understand rationales you didn't know before. You know you know a subject if you're able to teach another person about it without hesitation! This study guide helped me SO much. I used UWorld and the study guide attached and passed the NCLEX in 75 questions on my first try. Believe in yourself! I have been looking all over my maternity book and cannot find anything. I'm asking for help on here to see if anyone can give me insight or at least point me the right direction.

If my patient is 2 hours postpartum and the fundus is at the umbilicus, is this cause for concern? How quickly should it descend? And what can small amount of DARK red lochia indicate? Thanks!! :)
