I am in need of some advice. I am currently working in an acute care setting & am utterly miserable. I personally feel that I would be better suited in a priviate practice or behind a desk doing audits, etc. But here is my question - how do I even start looking for these positions? I am a newer RN & have my ASN degree. I cannot have any more sleepless nights dreading work. Any help would be appreciated.

Cried for the first time tonight. I am day 2 off orientation & had such a hard night with a patient, that I wanted to just sit there & sob. After a few tears rolled out I sucked it up & finished my night...crying all the way home in the car! I am not sure if I signed up for all of this...

I have had no luck finding a new grad position and have been looking for 2+ months....starting to worry!

I took both Micro & Physio together. I passed both successfully....while there is quite a bit of memorization & a ton of studying, I found that alot of similar information was addressed in both classes (ie: immune system, metabolism, etc). I was like you - I wanted to get it done at once to save myself 6 months of more pre-reqs! It is alot of hard work, but IS achievable. Good luck with your final pre-reqs!
