  1. HI All, I am interviewing in a level 1 trauma center ED next week and often read this board. Wondering if anyone had any good advice for me for the interview! I have been a nurse a year and half, currently work an a ccu in Neuro. Im excited to join a fast-paced environment where i'll see alot and learn alot!!! Thanks All!!
  2. Hi All, Im soon to be a graduate nurse..... and very interested in OB. Firstly, I am concerned about starting in a speciality (and thus not being able to take care of regular patients) but also, i am in a scholarship contract with a facility with no OB (L and D, etc) openings currently. If i start out on telemetry, will its be difficult to make the switch later in my career. Could I maybe do it part time? And could someone explain a DOULA to me? Thanks!!
  3. thanks for your reply! yes, st chris is on my rotation, CHOP isnt. and they really arent kind to students coming in to observe who arent there on a rotation. I think im going to follow a school nurse for a day, and see what else i can find.
  4. Hi All! Im a student Nurse in Philadelphia. Im looking for some observational experiences out-side of my rotation (it is required) such as shadowing a NICU nurse, Peds Nurse, School Nurse or in an out patient clinic. If anyone has any suggestions, or would like to let me follow them for a few hours, that would be wonderful!! I do have proper documentation from my school! thanks!
