  1. It's going to be a lot of work and ALOT more responsibility than being a CNA. Everything that goes wrong falls on your shoulders. 20 semi patients is nothing...trust me! I been work in a nursing home for 3 years now and I have over 30 patients to give meds, breathing tx, insulin and a host of other things. But after a couple of months it won't be as hard and will become like second nature. Don't give up is the best advice!! Those first 6 months will test you.
  2. I am currently applying to the ADN LPN-RN bridge program? I have to work while in school. I plan to work 7-3p at my nursing home on Saturday and Sunday. I also plan to work 10p-6am at least two maybe three times a week. My question is: Is it doable? I'm I setting myself up for failure? Has anyone ever work full time and did school? Please share stories/advice!!!
