Not at all! In the past, denials were sent out first by email & mail. & acceptance was sent out by mail only I believe afterwards.

Hi guys..4th time applying at Merced & haven’t heard anything either ? I’m taking it as they sent out all acceptance emails and those of us that didn’t receive anything will be denied. Ugh this sucks.

I wonder if they accepted any students for Fall? So far everyone got in for Spring! CONGRATS to you all ? Does anyone know if they’re having a fall semester? Also what time did everyone receive their acceptance/alternate email

Hi everyone! It’s almost June and they still haven’t posted an update.. does anyone know anything?? I’m starting to think they just won’t take any applicants this year due to remote learning most schools are facing in the fall.. :(

I spoke with Marcos today & was told that they had around 500 applicants this year and that he was told that the cut off will be higher than last year, but he isn’t sure what it will be! Ugh.

I think everyone that has 60+ points were asked to submit supporting documentation. However, I'm not sure because I feel like that will be a lot of paperwork that they are used to that will be turned in. I'm just not sure how the process is this year? ?

Hi! This is my first time applying to Fresno City. I also just applied to MJC. Good luck to everyone! I will also be applying to Delta and Merced. Fingers crossed, this has been such a long journey.

MJC is going to be 20% lottery as of next year. As long as you have a minimum of 60 points, you can qualify for their lottery selection pool. They are posting the new application next month and the application process will be February 2020 instead of May from now on.

I don’t think they will change it again. Especially after they have already announced it. It’s not fair what so ever and it makes me very angry along with many other people. If I would have known this would be changing, I would have retaken my science classes and applied elsewhere instead of worked full time & waiting to get in. Not cool at all.

I’m so sorry to the third year applicants that didn’t get in, especially with all of the new changes. I would be furious. It’s not fair.

We just have to keep trying everyone! I’m so surprised most of us got denied though that’s insane.

Letters were sent out yesterday. Rejection emails will be sent out on Monday. (What a current student nurse at Merced was told by one of her professors)

Ugh it’s just also not fair to 2nd, 3rd, & 4th applicants as well because most of us have been depending on the admission for 4th application year when we could have been retaking classes, TEAS, etc while we waited. Oh well, at least there’s still a chance! I will just be retaking my courses & TEAS in the next year then if Merced denies me ?

So the “2nd lottery pool” for 3rd & 4th applicants is only happening next year?
