  1. You guys are just ridiculous! I've never said it working as a CNA beneath me. As a med surg nurse when you are taking care of 7-8 patients, you don't have time to do CNA tasks! That's all!
  2. Hi guys, after few weeks of rotations I've realized that nurses do most of CNA work especially in med surge and ICU etc... why do nurses work as a cna???
  3. I've always been very cautious person! I would never move to another state without having a job first. So I'll just wait get some experience before I start to think about moving. I just didn't know it will be this tough to find a job there...
  4. Ahh, I see! Well, for right now I'll be happy to get a job just anywhere in California lol but someday I would love work at UC!
  5. That was my original plan but after readings all the responses, i am scared and very discouraged. I'm gonna just wait year or so then think about moving there. But thank you so much for encouraging me!
  6. Yeah I was actually thinking about doing travel nursing... hopefully things work out for me.
  7. I've lived in NC, Florida for few years. When I first visited California I just loved it! I know it's gonna sounds weird but It honestly felt like l was home. So i am willing to make any sacrifices. I'm willing to wait and get some experience first as well. As I mentioned on the previous post that I've been waiting to move for almost 10 years.
  8. I am willing to sacrifice! I honestly don't care which hospital or area i get a job as a new grad! I just wanna get my foot in the door lol. Btw, why are people so crazy about working at kaiser or UCLA?
  9. It's ok! You got this!! Take your time and just make sure to get As in science classes. I had to take anatomy twice lol
  10. Hahaha!! Omg 1000% correct! I've been wanting to move California for almost 10 years now... Are you done with your degree??
  11. Thank you so much! To be honest, cost of living in Boston is really high too. My main reason for moving is the damn weather. I can't take the snow anymore lol.
  12. How long do you think I should wait??
  13. Do many employers hire ADN nurses???
  14. I'm new to this forum I couldn't send you PM!! Can you please tell me which hospital are you talking about? I really wanna move to California and start my RN to bsn there.
  15. I guess I'm stuck here for a while!!!!
