  1. Tidbit from last year - they took 8 days to reply with interview dates, and they interviewed something like 60-70 people for 26 seats.
  2. It actually looks like interview requests went out today. I interviewed there last year, but declined the interview this year. I'm happy to answer questions if you'd like, just DM me!
  3. Yes to my first choice, thanks! Best of luck to you all.
  4. The email I received said first round interviews, so maybe there will be a second round! I’m giving up my interview seat so hopefully someone else gets it ?
  5. Whoever starts a facebook page, let us know! I would but... I'm really bad at FB, trust me, you don't want me managing that.
  6. Hey all, I haven't seen any threads for this yet and interview requests just went out for Fairfield University's CRNA program starting 2023. Just wondering if anyone else here has applied this year?
  7. They said by 8/22 they should have the scheduling email out and to reach out if not received by then. All of the waiting is certainly the hardest part of this process!
  8. I just got an email from Northeastern graduate admissions, got super excited, then realized it was from their marketing department LOL. But it went to my spam, so make sure you’re checking your spam folders just in case!
  9. No, but they said we have until the 8th to confirm so I doubt we will hear before then.
  10. I’m assuming they were purposefully vague so they’d have as much time as they need, however past cohorts it seems like they were very quick. Considering how fast they were to set up interviews after the deadline, I’m sure they’ll probably have decisions out sooner rather than later. Hopefully mid-late august!
  11. I also received an invite to interview! Good luck everyone ?
  12. That’s what I saw as well. Not sure if they offered a second round of interviews or not. It sounded like the latest we’d hear is early September, but they seem to be pretty quick in general so hopefully it’s closer to the last interview date.
  13. Does anyone know anything else about the timeline for this school? If they get interviews out that quickly, do they also make decisions quickly?
  14. A little late, and not to sound defensive, but: I have extensive volunteer and extracurricular experience, letters of recommendation from folks that I know very well (another school had actually given me the ratings of my letters and gave them altogether 29/30), and not sure where you read this, but I never said I didn't think I'd get in anywhere. I know for a fact I'll get in somewhere, I'm confident in myself and my abilities, and I interview well. I'm writing it off as a fluke. Rejections don't define anyone.
  15. Heyo, I'm just about finished my application (cutting it close LOL)! I'm a New England native, and a coworker of mine is starting the program at Northeastern this year. Fingers crossed!
  16. Hey, I applied! Hoping it won't be too long before we hear about interviews. Which program are you hoping for? I'd be fine with either, but I'd prefer the Cleveland Clinic!
  17. Yeah I have a very strong application too, high GPA, ccrn, great experience, masters with a 3.9. I never think I’ll definitely get in somewhere, but I’m honestly a little surprised about being rejected for an interview. Not really sure how much better you can get on paper. (I’m not trying to brag at all, I know it’s a competitive pool and those who got interviews probably have equally good or better stats.) On to the next.
  18. Remember what it’s like when patients families call incessantly for updates but you’re too busy with actual work and patient care to update them? That’s probably what these folks are going through. Give them the benefit of the doubt and hold out hope.
  19. Honestly I think you’re wrong and that’s a very pessimistic view. They already delayed, and they care more about getting a good cohort than meeting deadlines (which is why we are in this position). What is your source? Did the admissions committee tell you this? Do you have inside information? If not, save your negativity for yourself and don’t use your pessimism to stress everyone else out. We don’t need that here.
  20. I bet you just put a bunch of minds at ease haha. Fingers crossed for everyone!
