  1. Got in Spokane. crossing fingers for those on the waitlist. is anyone interested in sharing an apartment in Spokane? it me up if you are and we can talk inbox I am so nervous about the whole move, it is going to be a big one. Gill21 looking for a roomate?
  2. called them, they said Friday 9th, they will be sending letters( emails)
  3. mine was ok. not too confident, but let's cross fingers. I heard they interviewed abt 140 students and will only retaint about 80-90 students. so transfer students like me have a very slim chance of getting in. Good luck everyone!!. Two more weeks to go.
  4. sure thing, I will be going to spokane too. lets see how the interview goes, then we can talk more about housing. Crossing fingers.
  5. how are you guys preparing for the interview? and by the way, is anyone interested in cohabitating?
  6. wondering, it is email or mail?
  7. not me. not sure it will get to us the same day though, crossing fingers!! good luck everyone!!
  8. eah, I heard the first round is heavy on grades, so my hopes are not too high. Edmonds, wow. you ready to move 4hrs away?
  9. Yup Spokane, I am currently in the Shoreline CC nursing program, and it has not done any good to my grades so far Cum. GPA 3.5 TEAS 78 lots of local and out of the sea volunteering and work experience. Not exactly sure of my chances to get in, but hey! why not try? Do you guys live near the Campus?
  10. Hey, I also applied for spring 2019, and I am so anxious. My stats aren't that good but i have hope!! Let's cross fingers.
  11. 6quater option is off during summer, while the 10 quater is on during summer. So happy that you made it T_petes. Can't wait to see you guys tomorrow morning.
  12. Hi, I made it. Good luck to all. see you at orientation.
  13. I don't recall the lady mentioning any decimal part on the cut off number. I am sorry ahead if I misinformed you guys. T_petes I hope you make it to the waitlist and eventually get in. again Congratulations to all that got accepted!!
  14. LETTERS WENT OUT THIS MORNING. cut off was 105. We will probably receive them by Tuesday depending on where you live, also Monday is a holiday. I go to SCC so i stopped by their building this morning and asked. 10 days earlier I know, congratulation for those with positive answers and courage for those who did not get in.
  15. awwnnn T_Petes Happy birthday in advance, and congratulations on your engagement/ wedding. It is very thoughtful to put a hold on school to start a family. After all its about what matters the most, besides there is no rush after your RN. very good timing to get experience needed to pursue an advance degree when you decide. wish you all the best in your marriage!!
  16. I did volunteer in the emergency department and I must admit it is fast paced and seems stressful. But I also think I would be a really good opportunity to encounter countless cases and gain experience to be a good future nurse practitioner. some friends who are nurse students also told me they made their final choice after rotating all department, and it was often different from the initial choice. So maybe I will change my mind later on, all I want is pursue at least an advance level. are you planning on furthering your nursing studies?
  17. Hey guys, thank you for the replies.Waiting is definitely not fun but we got 3 weeks down already. only 3 more to go. The idea of taking the Pax exam freaks me out. that is one of the reasons why I only applied to shoreline coz they did not require any of those. But again the cut off number keep spiking every quater, that is really stressfull. The nursing secretary, Sharon, told me cut off number is usualy 103, but i ve been reading forums and many affirm that recent cohort had very high cut off point. lets cross fingers. we ould talk about something else if you are interested. What type of nurse would you all want to be? I want to be either be ER or OR, I like the pace and have plans for ARNP!
  18. Hi everyone, spring 2018 was my first time applying to a nursing school. the past few weeks have been really stressful and yet letters will not be mailed until the end of the month at least, feb 27 will mark 6 weeks. I hope to get in and hope to see all of you there or on the field :) one of these days. Good luck to all!!
