Taking the TEAS in 4 days
I think the reading section is the easiest part on the test. Just remained focus and use your common sense. If you want good practice, those ATI practice tests are really good. They're harder than the actual test so they prepare you. Good luck!

FGCU Nursing Spring 2019
Hello! Just posting for any future students looking to apply to FGCU. I applied for Spring 2019 with 3.95 GPA and 89% on TEAS but received my rejection letter yesterday. Not sure what criteria FGCU goes by, I applied the third day the applications opened, too. So don't think it's first come first serve either. Idk. Maybe they put heavy emphasis on volunteering/involvement? Luckily I already got into another school. Good luck to everyone awaiting spring 2019 decisions and all the future students looking back at this thread to gauge the statistics of acceptance.

FIU Generic BSN Fall 2018
I do think we are supposed to submit to NursingCAS. At least I did. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought we would only send to FIU and NursingCAS, not College of Nursing Student Services because they'd receive it through the NursingCAS? Are we to submit to all three?

That's my strategy right now as well lol. I'm just trying to not even think about it.

FIU Generic BSN Fall 2018
Hey AngelBb! I actually heard the 80 students thing from Christian. I had to call him one day for assistance with the application and he mentioned it was more competitive with 80 spots. I have no idea if maybe it was just a rumor he'd heard or if it was true but they decided to change it to 100 again. Either way, I'm relieved to find out you're hearing 100. I really hope that's it.

FIU Generic BSN Fall 2018
Alex, you have soo many hours! I feel like that will *really* help you out. They will see that you are a hard worker and have a lot of dedication. The average GPA of people who get into the program is 3.7 which means that a good amount of the people who got into the program didn't have 3.7 or above. Hopefully that eases your worries a little! :) Best of luck with your science class!

FIU Generic BSN Fall 2018
Hey guys! Everyone here seems to have pretty good stats! Hopefully we get in. My stats: 3.9 GPA and 4.0 science and 89% on TEAS. I may retake my TEAS for a higher score though. Just to let you guys know, I've just found out that they're no longer accepting 100 students. It is now going to be only 80 students...they've made it more competitive.

No idea if score is good enough! Please help.
Yeah. I'm thinking I may have to retake it because I just spoke to the counselor and he's informed me the program has become even more competitive. Instead of only 100 admitted it is now 80.

Hey, I'm reapplying to a school that I got accepted into the Fall 2017 program but had to drop for personal reasons. Now I can go back in and I don't know whether or not I should retake my TEAS for a better shot at getting in. I'm scared to death that I won't make it and it will delay my BSN further. I don't know what I'd tell my parents if I had to wait another year. I have a 3.9 GPA with a 4.0 science GPA. My TEAS score was 89% and I'm transferring to this school from a CC. So I'm not exactly their first pick compared to their own students competing for the program. So, should I retake the TEAS in an attempt to get a 90+? Will this boost be worth the extra $100 and assure my acceptance? What do you think? Please help me out. I'm super worried.
