  1. Hi! Congratulations on your first job! Are you already in a monitoring program? If not, from my understanding, as long as you have a prescription for whatever you are positive for on the pre employments UDS then you will be fine. They just ask for proof of prescription. Maybe I'm not understanding correctly though? I don't want to give you wrong information. Also maybe you can talk to your new manager to see if they wouldn't mind just pushing the start date back a couple weeks.
  2. Don't do it! I got comfortable in my monitoring program. Tried it once for a headache - a friend gave it to me. Had a test the next day or two days after- something like that. Showed up positive for THC. The brand she got was from a very reputable place that also said 0% thc. Mine showed up positive on the VERY VERY low end - but that doesnt matter, it is a positive regardless. I am still kicking myself for it. Please don't do it!
  3. I agree. These cutoff levels feel like they set people up to fail!
  4. You're totally right. I don't know what even made me think that they would actually inform us about something like lower cutoff levels. I'm sure I will be reprimanded in some way, shape, or fashion for indulging in a couple everything bagels.
  5. Well that is good to know. You would think they would kind of give people who are in monitoring programs a heads up about that. Everything I read has said otherwise ya know. That makes sense if monitoring programs have a lower cutoff level though. Well, lesson learned, note to self.....all of that. Dang. I'll update you guys on what happens from here.
  6. ME TOO!! That's why I am really not super careful about it honestly. I had one Sunday night as well as Monday afternoon. Not even thinking at all about it all. Obviously. í ½í¹„
  7. Oh my god!!!!! It was an everything bagel!!! I ate it the night before and I honestly never even thought twice about it. When I read your comment I guess it jogged my memory. I feel so stupid.
  8. Right. I usually cook most of my food. But recently, I had the opportunity to go to Hawaii for a dialysis conference. So I obviously wasnt cooking any food. There was a lot of food served there that MAYBE could have had poppy seeds in it, unbeknownst to me. I never ate poppy seeds outright but.....u suppose they can be in things without knowing.
  9. Ughhhh! I totally agree!! Ya know, I feel kind of like an a**. Cause it was like, I talked with my case manager and felt so guilty for something I didnt do. I talked to the MRO about something I probably did (eat poppy seeds accidentally) and felt freaking guilty that I wasnt careful enough. ALLLLLLL this guilt!! For a false positive/poppy seed situation. Its absolutely ridiculous. Increase the freaking cutoff already!! We have to do hair tests anyway so, if a UDS doesnt catch it, OBVIOUSLY the hair test WILL. All the frustration coming out right now..........thank you for being supportive.
  10. Thanks for your reply. I just got off the phone with the MRO. He said it is a VERY low level for morphine and there are only 4 things that come up positive for morphine. 1. Morphine 2. Codeine 3. Heroin 4. Poppy seeds. Options 1-3 are completely off the table for me so it has to be poppy seeds. He said that's what it looks like to him too. So in his report he is writing that it is probable poppy seeds. This is so wild to me. Now im having to pay an extra 50 for the MRO review and another 60 to retest the same sample. And ANOTHER 60 for the self test I did today. For poppy seeds?! So frustrated. Thanks for everyone's support.
  11. Not that I know of. But could be?
  12. I have been in TNPAP for almost two years now. Today I received a positive result on my last UDS. It is positive for opiates / morphine. I have no idea why it is positive. I've gone through every possibility in my head and I am coming up with nothing. I have been very careful about what I eat and drink. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm pretty much just freaking out right now. I am waiting for the MRO to call me and I will have them re-test it. I also self tested today. Liz
